"What is your purpose," Tyrion snapped at the equally familiar -yet unfamiliar - person. "Your rank, and purpose. Quick!"

“I thought I already went through this with your interrogator,” Jynn began with a look of concern forming on his face. Maybe they didn't believe him? Maybe this was a test. He dug through his mind quickly, remembering parts of the story he had given earlier. “I'm special agent Jynn with the secret organization X-Ray Alpha Niner. I was placed aboard the Galileo to ensure safe transport of the Shawken Device. Look, must we go through this all again?”

"Special Agent," Tyrion taunted, "what is a Shawken Device. Special Agent Jynn, answer the question, yes we must go through all this once again. Especially...if someone's to pretend you're you..."

“What do you mean, 'pretend,'” Jynn questioned but began to trail off towards the end as it sort of answered itself. The next person to round the bend and answer the room was, well, Jynn!

“Oh, boy...”

And Now, the Continuation...

ISS Galileo - Main Bridge

Wintrow looked up at his station, then around at others on the bridge of the ISS Galileo. "If I raise shields, we have to decloak," he muttered, "but if we do nothing, then we're sitting ducks. What are our orders?"

Jared glanced over from one of the science stations. "We're not surrendering to those KCA bastards are we?" he asked.

"The first man to surrender is the first to die." Jack replied as he exited the turbolift and headed for his chair. There had always been a chance that the Alliance would detect them, and as such he had made certain preparations amongst his own forces.

=^=All warships this is General Holliday. Stand by to engage on my command. =^=

"Tactical officer - let's see if those sniveling mirror idiots did what we wanted of them. Tie in the sensor array to our targeting systems, locate that green bitch's fleet."

USS Galileo

Still stuck in his office, but having been able to freshen up a little and arm himself without the patrolling guards having noticed, Tyrion was ready. He listened at the message that was broadcast all across the ship and he shuddered. More enemies to deal with, but maybe they could use their arrival to their own advantage. Carefully working the door, he slid through the smallest opening he could actually fit through, and quickly disposed of the one guard. But where would he go now?

Keval was growing restless when he heard the voice coming through the speakers. He let out a string of Andorian expletives then called the Admiral "Ma'am," he said, "I don't think we have anytime left. I can use the confusion to get to the computer core, but I don't know if I can do it on my own."

"...I agree," Lirha replied through the comm from her place down in the ship's engineering bay. If there was any time to take action, now was it, and she wasn't about to waste the best opportunity presented to them thus far.

"...all hands this is Saalm...proceed with the plan," she ordered. "Subdue any hostile forces you might encounter and re-establish control of the vessel. The computer core and the main bridge are your priorities...I will handle main engineering." With the help of the trusty exocomp who had arrived not too long ago, she felt confident the two of them could overpower the small security force near the warp core.

Keval began working on his door controls. It took him less than a minute to do so. He was surprised to see a Terran solider standing there. Had the man not been equally surprised Keval would probably have died right there. As it was, he reacted simply on instinct and training. He grabbed the man in a choke hold and began squeezing. When the man had collapsed the Andorian drug him into his room and relieved him of his weapon and started making his way to the computer core.

In a hatch just outside the main computer core, Jaana turned her hand phaser over in her hand. Clutching it tightly, she took a deep breath. "I'm ready," she said, crawling a couple steps towards the hatch.

Deck 3 - Sickbay

The place was looking more like something out of a Vincent Price horror movie or some such when Gerrin made his way through the sickbay door.

The guards withing attempted to fire but because he was out of phase they went right through the somewhat ghostly apparition. He phased back and again used that Akkadian weapon. The guards vanished, not even a trace or flash, just one moment there and the next gone.

He turned on the woman leaning over what was obviously the Akkadian he was seeking. "If you do not wish to join their fate, step away NOW!"

The mirror Tuula looked up from the biobed, her uniform covered in blood. Research was going well; if her hunch was correct, she was very close to breaking the ancient code. Fortunately, she had the perfect test subjects in the Akkadian and an identical clone of herself with an identical injury. And having just performed one of her favourite procedures -- an amputation, without anasthetic of course -- on one of her favourite subjects, the Akkadian, she was ecstatic.

Looking over at Gerrin, she let out an evil grin, palming a hypospray as she stepped away. He would make a glorious subject. "Another Akkadian," she said with a grin. "It must be my lucky day."

Meanwhile, with her wrists restrained to a biobed and all kinds of probes and tubules hooked up to her body, the prime Tuula could do nothing but call for help. She didn't know who this man was, but he was her only hope at the moment. "Help us," she said, looking over at him. Her mascara, normally perfectly applied, even while on duty, was smeared and being carried by her tears down her cheeks.

Gerrin did not take his eyes off the woman. He should just kill her and be done with it. Every fiber of his being said so. He phased instead and then called, "We'he ke'kae lehe ke'kae."

He just smiled as Allyndra and he vanished.

A moment later both Tuula's vanished as well.

Deck 4 - Geology Lab

Luke listened to the communication as did the rest of the room "Perfect, You know your objectives and you know that no matter what happens this is it. Make it or break it" He said turned to address the group of Starfleet officers and of course the one Terran Empire masquerading as his daughter. "Ok Go get them and remember to use the same frequencies we've been operating on already" He warned as they filled out.

Turning to Abbey and Wintrow "You two remain here" He nodded to a security officer who remained behind "I'm putting you both under guard until we can get you safely to the brig and then from there we can decide what to do with you" His steely eyes locked with Abbey's before turning away and making his way with three other security guards all brandishing phasers and head straight to engineering.

"Sir," was all Wintrow replied, not quite certain whether he was to be put in the brig too. As far as he knew, he'd done nothing wrong and he owed this young woman his life. It was only right that he'd protected her now.

Abbey just nodded her arms down by her side her right hand fiddling with something, "Whatever you do don't freak out" She said now standing up and with the fluidity of vapour charged up to the security guard who was facing away from them and towards the door her Terran Empire uniform fluttering as she gained momentum before she used a nerve pinch on his neck and shoulder rendering him completely out. "Works every time, something useful the Vulcans actually shared with us willingly" She mused bending over taking the phase rifle and phaser the weapons far less useful than the the empires version. Turning her head "I wasn't going to stand around and let them fight the empire with out me" She said giving a cocky smile. "Now you gonna help me Wintrow? Because I like you and I wouldn't want to have to knock you out too" She teased.

"We're ordered to stay here," Wintrow replied feebly, eyes wide as he stared at her, "if we move, then we could be charged with disobeying a direct order. I can't afford any such charge ma'am...I'm still a cadet, I can't afford any notations on my record."

Abbey only saw one way to keeping him safe and for him to come along. Them being together increased their chances of survival. Pointing the rifle at him she placed one hand on her hip "Come with me and help me fight the empire or I will shoot you" She tapped a few buttons. "I'm not sure how this works but I'm pretty certain its the level where there wont be even dust left of you according to this red flashing bar" She smiled. "See now your not disobeying a direct order, I am" She pushed the hand phaser towards him. "Come on"

Eyes widening, he just stared at her and then at the weapon she aimed at him. "Seriously?" he breathed, "we're safe here Abbey...out there, we're not. I don't have the training to go fighting an armey...and you're my responsibility." He took the phaser and aimed it at her instead. "I'd stun you...."

She let out a sigh "Wintrow, your crew is out there and some will be dying" As if on queue shouting could be heard and the sound of two sections of security having a good old fashioned shoot-em-up. "See, you hear that we wont be safe anywhere if the empire repels the KCA and your troops assault's fail to retake the ship. I know enough military skills to protect us both I wont let anything happen to you and hell after when were out of this place I'll take myself to the brig and do it all proper like". She pleaded calculating the time it would take to take Wintrow down without killing or seriously injuring him. "Please, this may be the only chance I get and getting some revenge on my father killers... Yes it was the empire that killed him not some other race, Humans. Despite finding our lust for bloodshed could be quelled among the stars we still never stopped killing one another and it might be a chance for me to gain some respect from your crew, enough so they wont flush me out of the airlock or torture me for information then flush me out of the airlock. I was witness to one of the best interrogators of the empire, I know what can break a person" She let out a growl as her eyes welled for only a moment as emotions got the better of her. "I wont ask you again Wintrow" What Wintrow didn't know her dad was tortured before being thrown out of an airlock for even giving even the slightest thought of sorrow towards the Xeno races.

"So do I," Wintrow replied sadly, "I know what will break a person...I've been there." He raised his weapon, eyes hardening as he peered at her over the barrel of the phaser. "Don't make me do this ma'am because I'd rather not. We have our orders, we're not leaving."

Abbey's face grew red an almost rage boiled her skin but it wasn't the emotion she needed right now, calm and collected she began lowering her rifle grabbing it with two hands looking up to Wintrow. "Fine" She said knowing what had to be done and trying to give her best 'you win look'.

The teenager tensed as she held the weapon, eyes never leaving her until she seemed to give up.

Before he finished she threw the rifle at his hand holding the phaser hoping to cause it to come off her just enough, ducking to the left she launched herself at him tackling him to the ground. "Don't make this any harder Wintrow!" She pleaded wishing he just went along with it, he had balls following orders with a rifle pointed at him and she admired him for that.

Not having expected this, Wintrow tumbled to the deck as she collided with him but managed to keep his hold on the phaser despite the hard knock of the rifle on his arm. It hurt but not badly so. "You're the one making things difficult," the boy shot back at her, trying to fight her off. "And now you're assaulting a Starfleet officer...don't make this any worse on yourself Abbey. Please!" He tried to get an aim on her again with the phaser, managing to wiggle it between them.

Feeling the phaser somewhere around her mid gut she breathed in and tried to grab it for herself "I've already done that today" She said between gritted teeth, "If you haven't forgotten old sleepy over there!" She was trying hard not to hurt him, she really did like him but he was making the situation ever worst, her fingers wrapped round his which were too wrapped round the phaser. "Give it up Wintrow, please damn it!"

"No," Wintrow growled, trying to yank his hand from her grasp. As they struggled for the phaser, one of them (and they would never know who) pressed the trigger and the phaser - set to stun - went off between them, stunning them both as the beam had nowhere to go but between both their close proximity bodies.
