Mission: Episode 03 - Frontier
Location: USS Galileo - Mess Hall
Timeline: MD 03: 2130 hours

[ON]

Tav wasn't even half-way through his to-do list, now he understood exactly what Peers had been so flustered about, or at least, he thought he did. He was standing by the replicator in the mess hall drinking a coffee when the door slid open. Almost coincidentally, the lighting panels at the rear of the three replicators flickered and died.

He let out a sigh and looked at the tall woman with blonde hair approaching.

"Good evening," he said, greeting her.

She smiled warmly, arching an eyebrow as she studied him. "Good evening indeed," she said softly, chuckling as she studied him. "You are Ensign Hunter, right? I certainly hope so..."

Tav wasn't sure if he recognised the approaching woman or not, she wore the uniform of an Intelligence officer and junior grade Lieutenant pips.

"I am," he replied, smiling back regardless. "And you must be..."

His voice trailed off, hoping that she would fill in the blank.

"Amynta Markos," she said and smiled as she studied him closely. "I hear you have been repairing things on this ship..."

"Nice to see my reputation is getting around already," Tav joked. "Or is that just because you're in intel?"

"Both," she said smoothly, smiling as she motioned to the chair. "May I join you?"

"Well unfortunately it looks as though the replicators have just died, again," he replied. "But I have a jug of coffee if that's any use?"

He sat down himself, placing the jug and a spare cup on the table, before gesturing to the seat opposite for Amynta.

"It is," she said and smiled warmly, nodding. "It's pretty amazing, isn't it? You come in here and things just die..." she winked, crossing her legs gracefully. "Just my predicament as well. My replicator died and I know if I set myself up on the list I will be there until we return from the mission..."

"Oh this list," he replied, pointing at the PADD on the table. "It's bigger than I am, unfortunately."

He grinned as he poured Amynta a cup of coffee.

"I hope you like it strong."

"Only way to have coffee," she said and smiled, taking it with a nod. She sipped it before frowning, her eyes going to the time. "Rats..." she stood quickly. "I am sorry...I have a meeting to attend. I hope to see you around..." she apologised before rushing off, taking a breath. She hated losing track of time. Hated it.
