Mission: Episode 07 - Sojourn
Location: Junior Officer Quarters, Deck 4.
Timeline: MD40, 2148 hrs

Tulkas packed light. It only took him a few seconds to take his few belongings out of his bag and put them into the storage provided in his new quarters. He eyed the bed carefully, knowing he'd never use it. For him, this room was essentially a bathroom, and place to get changed. He untied his hair and let it down for a moment, pulling the brush from his bag and running it through his hair.

There'd been a healthy buzz about the ship today when he came aboard, not like the last time he'd been aboard, during orientation, where only the department heads and medical were still around. It had been pleasant, but still quieter than his old ship. It was odd, but even though he wasn't the most social of individuals, he suddenly missed all his old crewmembers.

Paul approached the door of his quarters and to his surprise, they swished open automatically to reveal a Denobulan occupant. "Oh, Jesus." Paul jumped back a bit with a start. "Umm... sorry. Hi!" Paul collected himself and meandered into his quarters. "You're... Tul-kuss?" He asked hesitantly, furrowing his brow and leaning his head. "Am I pronouncing that right?"

"Almost. Tulkas." The Denobulan corrected gently. "You must be Paul."

"I am. It's an absolute pleasure to meet you, sir." Paul extended his hand and smiled. "I feel like every time I walk in this room, someone new is waiting for me."

Tulkas raised an eyebrow at being called Sir, but the second comment was more immediately intriguing. He shook Pauls hand firmly. "You've had a few room mates before, then?"

Paul shook his head with amusement. "You would be... six. I've had six roommates in about 4 months."
