I've been back on Trill now for almost a week, and despite the fact that I love my little cottage up in the glades, I can't help but miss gliding through the stars at warp speed. Perhaps I've outgrown my life here. The peace and quiet is fantastic, but maybe no longer holds its magic.

I have, however, managed to organise an assistant science officer for the Gally since being back which I am most pleased with. A former member of the crew who seems to need a new direction in life. And I believe that I can assist him with it.

My special transport leaves for Earth in two days, and I'm looking forward to getting back to the Fleet and organising my life that side of the galaxy. I just need to pack.
