ON:

Lily was stood in front of the sofa, her body tipped to one side so that her face was level and orientated to the sleeping woman. There was excitement in the young girl's eyes. She couldn't help it. Because Aria was one of her bestest friends and she'd stayed the night after the big adult party. Of course, she hadn't realised that until she'd woken up and found her there on the sofa, but it was still practically a sleep over, which was exciting. She reached out, carefully pressing her nose with a fingertip, making a small 'beep' noise before giggling.

"I'm awake!" Aria shouted and sat up, her eyes wide. She looked around and made a face, before she looked at Lily. Lily Blake. Okay. So she was...on Scarlet's sofa. She groaned and collapsed down, covering her face with her hand. "I feel like a wet dog moved into my mouth and had puppies..." she whispered before she turned on her side to look at Lily with bleary eyes. "Hi there, princess..."

Lily smiled warmly to her, trotting her purple unicorn up over the woman's arm. "Morning! You stayed allll night! There's no puppies though," she added the last with confusion.

"Hmm..." Aria nodded before she grimaced. "Let's play a whispering game. We whisper everything until Aria has had at least a coffee and a hypo of painkillers...and a sonic shower..." she sat up and rubbed her eyes, smearing her makeup further. Her hair was also a bit of a rat's nest after sleeping on the sofa.

Lily couldn't help but giggle at the sight, covering her mouth because she knew it was cheeky. "Mummy left you this..." she motioned to the coffee table where a hypospray and a cup of coffee stood. "The cup says 'for Princess Messy Pup'..." she pretended with shining eyes.

Aria groaned as she nodded, watching her before she stood. "I love your Mummy. Can she be my Mummy?" she asked as she moved slowly to the table. Oh. No boots. She didn't look for them though, instead taking the hypospray and pressing it against her neck before taking the mug, inspecting it. "Hey! It doesn't say that..." she said in a pretend grumpy voice, the hypo having taken the edge of the epic hangover. So, with her stomach a little uncomfortable, she sipped the coffee. "Mmm...I love coffee...You have it with breakfast, when you are tired, when you got a bad headache or when you're sitting in a cafe pretending to write a novel...it's not a drink! It's a hug in a mug..." she wrapped her hands protectively around it and eyed Lily. "But until you're like 18 it will taste like the soles of your shoes so...don't be tempted, princess..."

"Oh..." Lily looked down with a heavy, disappointed sigh. "It smells nice though, like toasty....something," she giggled at not being able to find something to compare it to. "Toasty hugs in a mug? Yeah...toasty hugs in a mug. You should have it with breakfast!" the girl took hold of her hand eagerly with a bright smile. "Oh! A big plate of sausages and eggies and bacon and fried bread....."

Aria looked green for a moment, swallowing back before she shook her head. "Coffee first...and then...then we can talk about...that...food thing..." she sat down heavily, rubbing her forehead. "Oh...my head..." and her stomach. And what had she done yesterday? She was scared of remembering now, her eyes going to Lily before she smiled. "How did you sleep?"

"Snuggly," Lily watched her with a gentle smile for a long moment. Aria looked very...delicate. She sat down next to her and took hold of her hand to hold. "When Snow White felt icky, a prince had to come and kiss her to make her better."

"True," Aria said as she watched her, giving her hand a squeeze. "Shame I don't have a prince around. Not that he'd want to kiss me before I brushed my teeth!" she closed her eyes for a moment, trying to relax her body.

Lily shook her head with a bright smile, leaning to press a kiss to her cheek. "Not a prince...but maybe bestest friend kisses might work too?" she trotted her unicorn up Aria's arm to have him plant a kiss on her cheek too for good measure.

Aria smiled at the kindness, looking at her before she took a deeper breath. Okay Rice, put on your big girl knickers, she thought before she nodded. "Yep! That makes me feel so much better. A magical kiss always helps."

Lily grinned at the words, clearly thrilled at the idea she might have helped her. "Mummy said you went to the big party and had lots of fun. I wanted to go and dance, but she said I was too little."

"How about next time I come over, we have our own little party with your toys? We dance, we have some snacky things, we drink our favourite drinks...that sort?" Aria asked as she smiled, her body relaxing as she finished her coffee. Oh, that hit the spot. She might even face some food soon. "So what do you have planned today, Lily?"

"Mummy has to work soon. So do you, she said so," Lily bit her lip with a weak smile. That party sounded so tempting. "I like your party clothes...." the girl laughed as she pointed to the heap of clothes on the chair she had assumed must be Aria's. Clothes that had been carefully set aside there by Scarlet once she'd gotten her friend on the sofa for the night and changed her into a nightdress.

Aria's eyes went to the pile of clothes and she nodded. "Yup. Yuppers...those are my...party clothes..." and her lace push up bra. Damn. She patted her own chest for a moment before she looked at Lily. "I better head home and get changed..." she leant to hug Lily, closing her eyes. "Your Mummy still here?"

"Yes," it was Scarlet who answered though, emerging from the bathroom, looking her usual immaculate self; crisp uniform, hair neatly pinned up. No one would know that she was ever at a party the night before. She chuckled softly when she saw Aria awake. Maybe not wide awake, but awake. "And bathroom is free if you want...?"

"Oh!" Aria stood and nodded, smiling to her. "I'll...just be a mo!" she kissed Lily's hair and walked to Scarlet, meeting her eyes nervously. "So...how...bad was I last night?" she asked carefully.

Scarlet sighed heavily, lips pursed as if weighing it all up before finally putting her out of her misery. "I've seen worse," she assured with a small smile of amusement. "I just didn't want you stumbling home alone..."

"Phew!" Aria looked relieved as she reached out to gently take a hold of her arm. "Because I am so hungover I worried I had done something horrible! Like...barfing in Lirha's chair or something..."

"Well I can promise you, that didn't happen," Scarlet chuckled softly as she folded her arms and arched an eyebrow. "Or on me actually, which is just as well or you'd be scrubbing the deck for the remainder of this tour..."

"Yes ma'am!" Aria said with a salute before she chuckled softly. "I...thank you, Scarlet. For...for getting me somewhere safe when I wasn't in a state of look after myself."

"You'd have been fine," Scarlet waved a dismissive hand, but with a small smile. "Still, doesn't hurt to be on the safe side, right? And you'd have done the same for me, I'm sure. Well...if you could...I mean, you're a petite little thing that's easy to get home after one too many."

"I'd have found a way," Aria said and nodded, taking a deeper breath. "There's always ways. Wheelbarrow, site to site transport...the possibilities are endless, Scarlet..."

Scarlet arched an eyebrow at that, watching her with undeniable fondness before shaking her head firmly. "So long as I don't have to fill out paperwork because of it? Knock yourself out...."
