Mimi slowly walked through the corridors of the Du'Ja'Q towards Lirha's quarters, she'd gotten a message from her that she would like to see her there, she didn't know why for certain but she had a good idea.

Smoothing out her uniform as she reached the door she took a deep breath and tapped the chime.

"Enter!" called out Lirha from the upper level of her quarters. She was busy entertaining Snuffles near the bedroom, and the young targ was currently engaged in a tug-of-war with one of her boot's shoe laces.

Mimi stepped through into the unusually laid out CO's quarters, at first she didn't see Lirha till she caught a flash of green skin above her. "You wished to see me... Admiral."

Looking down from her perch in the upper level, the Orion watched the Nekomi woman enter her quarters. She paused to think for a short moment, unable to recall summoning the ensign. "Did I?"

"I received a message from you an hour ago to come to your quarters when I was next free." Mimi replied.

Lirha's eyes traveled upwards in an attempt to recall the nature of the summons. She'd been busy with operational matters for the past couple hours and had sent out quite a few memos to various personnel and department heads. A few of them related to salvage -- specifically pieces of the former Nova-class that had been recovered and presented to her as a gesture of kindness from Medara. Briefly, she wondered if Mimi had received such a gift.

Making her way down the stairs with clunky steps from her armored boots, Saalm walked down onto the main lower level of her chambers and over to the nearby desk. She retrieved a Klingon data pad then began to scroll through it. "Yes, it seems I did," she verified with a muted nod. "It seems some of your personal artifacts were recovered by the Kreanans when they salvaged Galileo's wreckage. They are in a crate in cargo bay two, if you are interested?"

Mimi's eyes lit up at the revalation that her links home might not be lost afterall. "I thought everything lost when she ship exploded."

"Much of it, yes, but some remained," Lirha replied. "The most sensitive components such as the computer core were destroyed along with the sensor palettes in the primary and secondary hull. But sections of the crew quarters remained somewhat intact after being decompressed." At least, that had been the report that Medara had given her. No doubt she hadn't let on to every component the Kreanans had been able to salvage, but Lirha knew that the auto destruct had done a good-enough job of rendering any important components and modules irrecoverable.

"I hope everything is still there." Mimi said. "I was so very upset when I realised everything I had to help me home had been destroyed."

The general tapped the data pad a few times to bring up inventory display of Crate G-095-A, the contents belonging to Mimi. "I hope it is as well. I know it has been a difficult time for you and many of the others. I am...sorry, for what it is worth. Take this," she said, offering the pad to the ensign for her to view the cargo contents.

Mimi took the pad and looked through, her mouth quickly turned to a wide smile when she saw that everything had been recovered and was still in perfect condition. "Thank you, you can not imagine how happy this has made me."

The Orion general returned the smile with a small one of her own. She knew her crew had been through much hardship over the past weeks -- anything she could do, however slight or insignificant, was something she was happy to offer. "The cargo hold is down on Deck 9 of the forward section." she added.

"Thank you, will there anything else Ma'am?" Mimi asked, she was chomping at the bit to get down there.

"No. That is all I have for you, it seems." The few personal items she'd recovered for Mimi were the only bits of good news to pass along on an otherwise uneventful and dull evening. "Good luck. I hope you find some things that bring back happiness."

Mimi darted out of Lirha's quarters and headed straight down to the cargo hold breathing a sigh of relief that Lirha hadn't mentioned the incident with the Klingons.
