Mission: Episode 14 - Statecraft
Location: IKS DuJa'Q - random corridor
Timeline: MD 03 evening

ON:

Mimi walked through the halls of the DuJa'Q heading for engineering and was doing her best to avoid the Klingons. Her luck ran out only a few metres later as she rounded a corner and walked straight into a tall Klingon. "Excuse me." She said politely and stepped out the way.

The klingon looked her up and down. “I know you.” his eyes narrowed. “You’re the little girl who wouldn’t fight. Did the bajoran’s let you run on their hamster wheel?”

‘Oh keela’ Mimi thought when she recognised the Klingon herself, he was one of the ones jeering at her when she was in the training centre and got bullied into leaving. “Yes they did.” She replied a little unsure of quite what to say.

The klingon looked her up and down. “For a species that look like cats, you are all little mice.” That is the right word isn’t it? Or am I thinking of rodent?”

“Are you attempting to insult me Klingon?” Mimi asked.

“I’m succeeding.” He said. “You little kitties don’t do anything but creep away with your tails between your legs”

“I am more than capable of defending myself if I choose to.” Mimi countered, she had a feeling things were going to go badly and started looking for an escape route just in case.

But another Klingon had come up from the other direction. “Playing with your food, J’tsec?” the newcomer asked.

“Not much meat on this one. Hardly worth the hunt.” He reached out and poked Mimi in the shoulder, hard.

With a sweep of her arm Mimi deflected the Klingons hand. “Do not test me Klingon, I have no desire to fight you.” She attempted to step past the Klingon and continue down the corridor trying to end the altercation before things got worse.

But the second Klingon moved to block her. “Running away again, kitty? Your species is so predictable. You’re all pussies.”

“You cannot judge an entire species from just looking at me.” Mimi said calmly, not rising to the bait, she again tried to step past the Klingon

The second klingon blocked her again and gave her a shove back towards the first. “we’ve seen enough of your kind to know you’re all cowards. Does your language even have words for fight or battle?”

“They probably have twenty words for surrender or grovel.” J’tsec grinned.

Mimi looked surprised at what the second Klingon said “You’ve seen more of my people?” She asked then she thought about it and her calm manner was steadily replaced with anger when she realised there was only one way these Klingons had seen Nekomi before; They were involved in the attack on her colony.

“Seen them, fought- no not fought. Wouldn’t call that fighting.” J’tsec snorted. “Got myself a few tails.” he reached out and tugged hard on Mimi's tail. “Going to get myself one more i think.”

Mimi hissed as the Klingon pulled her tail, reaching down she grasped him by the wrist and dug her claws into his flesh trying to get him to release his hold.

He laughed and twisted hard on her tail, meaning to break it off. “Is that the best you can do rodent?”

Hissing loudly Mimi turned and with her claws fully extended swiped at the Klingons face.

J'tsec hissed as he didn't duck back quite fast enough, leaving bloody lines across his face, and let go of her tail. He howled, more in fury than pain, and back slapped Mimi with all his strength, his hand slamming into her face and sending her crashing aside.

"Now that's more like it," said the second Klingon, and pulled out his knife, a long, slightly curved pieces with barbs instead of quillions. "Lets see what you have, pussy cat."

Mimi regained her balance and dropped into a defensive stance, tail tucked in and claws fully extended as the Klingons circled her. She wasn't in the best situation and needed to change it quick, seeing an opening she lashed out kicking the second Klingon right where her researched said it's reproductive organs would be.

"Pe'taQ!" The klingon howled

J'tsec lunged forward, grabbed Mimi's arm and hooked a leg behind her ankle. With a quick shove he tripped her, arm still caught in a wrist lock.

Using the momentum of her falling to aid her Mimi rolled backwards a little and kicked the Klingon in the side of the head, she was glad of her naturally flexible shoulder joint as her arm twisted rather violently in the process.

He grunted, and his grip slipped so he was barely hanging onto her sleeve

Feeling the Klingon's grip loosen a little Mimi rolled over and managed to slip out of the grip, she leapt forward and up onto her feet creating the separation she needed. "You will pay for what you did to my people." She shouted dropping back into her posture.

J’tsec snarled without words and tried to regain his grip, but Mimi moved too quick.

Mimi hissed and ran towards J'tsec, easily ducking under his attempt to grab her she slammed the base of her hand into his solarplexus attempting to drive the wind from him before slipping behind him and wrapping her hands around his neck digging her claws in.

He grabbed her hands, trying to pull her curved claws free without opening a major blood vessel, and then changed tack, slamming her into the bulkhead as she rode on his back, once, twice, a third time.

Hitting the bulkhead hard Mimi yelped in pain, her grip loosened slightly but she clung on, swinging her legs back she managed to get purchase on the bulkhead and pushed forwards forcing J'tsec away from the wall. The force spun J'tsec around just enough that Mimi could see the other Klingon coming to grab her, swinging her legs again Mimi kicked him in the head knocking him off balance again.

The second klingon clutched at his face as her heel caught him just above the eye and he reeled back as pain exploded through his forehead.

J'tsec growled with a fury that made his whole body vibrate and decide to risk having his jugular ripped open. He grabbed Mimi by the shoulder of her shirt and dragged her down, throwing her to the floor at his feet.

Despite her attempts to stay on Mimi crashed into a heap on the floor, it took her a moment to get back to her sense before darting back up to her feet. But the second Klingon was back up, and grabbed her from behind, pinning her arms to her side and lifting her up.

Mimi tried to wriggle free but the Klingon had a firm grip on her. She thrashed around in his arms and felt his head close to hers, summoning her strength she headbutted him as hard as she could.

With a howl of pain and fury he dropped her, but into the arms of the oncoming J’tsec, who grabbed Mimi by the front of her uniform and body slammed her to the ground, landing his whole weight on top of her.

The wind was knocked out of Mimi as she hit the deck hard, she tried as hard as she could to get out from under J’tsec but she was pinned by his sheer mass. She clawed at every part of his body she could reach.

“Kill her and take the tail, or take the tail and then kill her?” The second klingon asked through winces of pain, one hand on his forehead, the other reaching for his knife again.

“Tail first,” J’tsec grunted. I want to see her face when we show it to her.”

“Then get you’re going to have to move her so i can get the bloody thing.” The other one spat back

J’tsec grunted, and held tight to Mimi pulling her over till her face was pressed into the deck plating, as the full weight of the klingon lay across her back, and held her hands to the floor.

As they turned her over Mimi tried unsuccessfully to wriggle free, she hissed and snarled as they held her down.

Then there was a sensation on the base of her tail, a thin, biting line of pain as the outer flesh gave way for a razor sharp edge.

Marisa Sandoval was walking down a corridor, familiarizing herself with the ship when she heard a commotion. Part of the reason she became a counselor was because she had a strong desire to help people. That sometimes led her into trouble, but she couldn't walk away and let someone get hurt.

She ran towards the noise and saw two large Klingons assaulting a felinoid. Mimi, if memory served. "Get off her!" Marisa yelled, racing towards the small group.

She grabbed the closest Klingon and, using her Vulcan strength, threw him against the bulkhead. Because of his position relative to hers, it was more logical than trying to maneuver herself close enough to use a Vulcan nerve pinch.

Then she turned on the second, clearly angry. "Only cowards assault a weaker opponent in this manner."

The second Klingon stared at her, with the surprise and confusion of any bully unsued to being challenged. "Nobody asked you, your pointy eared fool," he spat, reversing the lay of his own his knife to take a backhanded grip on the handle.

J'tsec hissed as the collision with the bulkhead broke a couple of teeth, and he lashed out, a clumsy, concussion laden swing at the same time as his companion lunged for Marisa.

"Call me Robin Hood," Marisa said. She quickly assessed the situation and grabbed the first Klingon by his blade hand, breaking his wrist and pushing him into the path of the second so J'tsec's blow hit his companion instead of her.

The two Klingons howled, then with unspoken agreement they decided enough was enough, and with a last kick to the floored Mimi, J'tsec's boot connecting squarely with her jaw, they ran off down the long corridor. "We'll see you again, pe'taQ." coming from the second as he retreated.

Mimi had just been getting back to her feet when J'tsec kicked her, she howled in pain as she felt her still healing jawbone break again under the force of his stiff boot. The adrenaline coursing through her body was the only thing that kept her from passing out from the pain.

Marisa knelt next to Mimi. "They're gone. Let me help you to sickbay." She would have to report this, but right now, getting the felinoid to a doctor was her first priority.

Grunting as that was the best she could muster Mimi nodded her head a little. With a lot of help from Marisa she groggily got to her feet.

Marisa nodded. "Come on," she said as she put an arm around Mimi. She half assisted, half-carried her as the two made their way to sickbay.
