Mission: Episode 10 - Symposium
Location: Sickbay, Deck 3, USS Galileo
Timeline: MD11 - 0450 hours

[ON]

Inside sickbay, Jaana sat crying in the corner, completely inconsolable. Tuula was gone, or so she thought, and she had wasted her last few days with Tuula not talking to her. With the loss of the person she was closest to, the person she cared about the most, her life seemed like it was all over. She didn't know what she would do without her twin sister.

But as she sat there, she heard a shimmering sound, almost like a transporter beam but different. Peeking out from the office, she couldn't believe her eyes.

There, on a biobed, was Tuula.

She was alive.

"Tuula!" she exclaimed, trying to wipe away her tears as she ran towards her sister. "You're alive!"

"Jaana!" shouted Tuula, as she prepared for her sister's big bear hug. "I'm so happy you're all right!"

Jaana held her sister tightly, promising herself that she would never let anything get between her and Tuula ever again. "Where were you? I thought you were..."

"I was whisked away, to an Akkadian fold ship," replied Tuula. "It was... amazing. They have the most advanced technology I had ever seen." Releasing her sister, she looked Jaana in the eyes. "And what about you?"

"I spent the last few days hiding in the Jeffries Tubes, worried sick about you!" She hugged her sister again. "I'm so happy you're all right. I thought I lost you. And the last thing I said to you was..." Jaana trailed off and wiped another tear from her eye. "...let's never fight again, okay?"

Tuula nodded. "Okay," she said, "but this also means we can't keep secrets from each other anymore."

"Agreed, though I don't know how long we're going to last in this universe--"

At that moment, the two sisters felt a shaking in the floor of the ship. It got louder and louder, eventually becoming so violent that it rattled small objects such as PADDs and tricorders off their shelves. And then just as suddenly as it started, it stopped.

"I think that means we're home," said Tuula.

"Really?" exclaimed Jaana, absolutely delighted.

"Yes, really." Tuula adjusted the biobed and began the process of getting back into her chair. "I probably have some patients to attend to, but since you're more familiar with the Jeffries tubes, there is something that I'd like you to do for me..."

"Anything!" exclaimed Jaana. "Anything for you, sis."

"Could you find Gilbert? I hid him in the Jeffries tube before we were boarded. He can't have gone far..."

Jaana sighed and headed for the Jeffries tube. As she opened the door, she heard Tuula calling out to her once more.

"Oh, and Jaana... please hurry. I don't want to have another tribble infestation on our hands..."
