[ON]

Keval had heard that a new officer was coming on board. He didn't have much information about him, only that he was a scientist. Not that, that was specular news most of the crew were scientists. But his quarters were slightly larger than most, which meant he was a higher ranking officer, or a department head.

Keval was in the officer's quarters because the replicator was on the fritz. Probably as a result of the plague of Tribbles the ship had to deal with not so long ago. Once he got to the room he noticed that the climate control was also broken, unless of course the new crewmen was Vulcan or from some hot desert planet.

The room felt like an oven, with hot rather than cool air pumping in. That quickly became his first priority. He assumed the officer wouldn't be around for awhile, so he took off his shirt as he worked laying it over a couch. If Andorians could sweat he would have been sweating.

Manuel's muffled footsteps were barely audible as he made his way down the corridor to his quarters. Looking down at a PaDD that he had been utilizing to monitor a live attempt by the computer to analyze his quantum geometrization conjecture and simulate it graphically, he ran into what seemed to be a dense flow of hot air. It was sweltering.

He sighed. "Looks like they haven't sent anyone to fix the climate control quite yet..."

He didn't see the Andorian immediately after entering. He was still looking down at his Padd.

Instantly, he began sweating profusely. He set the PaDD down on the couch and pulled at his collar.

"Agh, it's ridiculously ho-" Manuel stopped as he caught sight of an undershirt draped on the back of the couch above the PaDD. Almost defensively he jumped up and took a look around the room. It was then that he saw the slim, toned blue figure huddled over the climate control console. His bare lower back leaded way to a rather voluptuous posterior. The Lieutenant simply stopped. Rather mesmerized, in fact.

The tricorder had quickly deduced the problem, a bad transponder, had fused the controls, reversing the polarity. It wasn't exactly an easy fix. The transponder had to be replaced, that was easy enough to fix, though he'd had to repair the replicator first, or he would have had to go all the back to the Operations office. Then he was going to have to replace the mother board.

Upon hearing the voice, he slowly turned around. His eyes automatically appraised the other man running down than back up till he fixed his gaze o the other man's face.

"CPO Keval Gr... zh'Erinov," he said managing a weak salute. I should be done here in ten minutes or so. You can wait outside if you prefer Lieutenant."

"N-No, it's fine. I'll just... I just needed to come in here to access my desk terminal and change. Don't mind me. The sooner it gets fixed, the better."

Manuel reluctantly looked away from the Andorian's seemingly perfect physique and grabbed the PaDD he had placed on the couch. He walked to the display on the moderately-sized desk on the far wall of the room and sat down. He was making minor adjustments to a few sensor array parameters that should increase the accuracy of quantum measurements in high-gravity time dilation zones.

He couldn't help but look up from the display and back at the Andorian. Every few lines of code he filtered through, he would find himself staring at the blue skin rippling over the constant expanding and contracting of muscles along his arms and back in complete reverie. His sweating seemed to increase, if that was possible. He'd never get anything done at that rate.

He could just get up and change instead, but, of course, all of the sweat and heat would defeat the purpose of changing into a new uniform. Maybe he could assist Keval in fixing the climate control. He may not have been an engineer or operations specialist, but he was a physicist and physics is the science of everything. At least, that would be the excuse that he'd use if Keval asked him why he was so close to him instead of finishing his work.

Keval looked up as the other man approached. He had not really noticed the other man's glances, though he would have been flattered if he had. He was after all strikingly handsome. Keval hadn't even begun to suspect that the other man might be find him attractive as well.

Nevertheless, he smiled as Manuel closed the distance between them."Something I can do for you Lieutenant?" he asked, both antennae curled slightly forward.

"Hmm? Ah, no... No. Just observing." He smiled sneakily. He was feeling a bit adventurous at the moment and decided to get a little more intimate in proximity and looked over Keval's shoulder to get a better look at what exactly he was working with. And then he looked to see what exactly he was working on.

"So, what's the prognosis? Reversed polarity?" Manuel said half-jokingly.

Keval turned back and looked at the Lieutenant who was no more than six inches off his six. He started to make a smart ass comment about the invasion of his personal space and how he only bottomed if he were in a relationship, but that pushed the envelope a little too far even for him. The man was an officer and Keval thought he might be wrong about the reason he was being stared at.

So instead, he simply said, "Actually you're right Lieutenant. Maybe we should switch positions."

Lucero blushed slightly but noticeably. "Err... Well... uh. heh." He tried to comeback but he was kind of overcome with what his mind had pictured at the utterance of 'switching positions'. Why was he being so childish, all of a sudden? He might as well just come out and say it.

No. Wait... He didn't want to get court-martialed for harassment. Damn. He'd have to beat around the bush.

Ugh... It's like high school all over again...

"I can't.. uh.. Science.. Well... Er. What shift do you work? Would you like to have a drink in the Rec Lounge? I mean... I'm relatively new aboard. It can't hurt to make friends... Right?"

Wow. Smooth.

Keval looked at the Lieutenant up and down, perhaps a little brazenly as a number of thoughts, some of them more than a bit naughty ran through his head.

"I work Alpha shift and sure, I'd love to have a drink with you."

He is hitting on me right? He managed a nervous smile as the turned back to his work. "This should be fixed now," he continued as he flipped a switch.

With a click and a hum, cool air filled the room with vengeance against the oppressive heat. Manuel closed his eyes and let the air hit his wet body. His hair seemed to move slightly with the gust of air. Alpha Shift... That could work. He quickly opened his eyes and turned back to Keval.

"I'm on Beta but I could just get up a bit earlier." He smiled as seductively as he could. He wasn't sure whether or not Keval understood that he was asking him out in a completely non-platonic, unprofessional manner.

Keval took in a deep breath himself, the cool air hitting his naked flesh just felt so good. Keval was not a mind reader, but he could read a lot by looking into a person's eyes and picking up on their body language. Especially when they were being so obvious about it.

He could tell that the Lieutenant liked him, or at least liked his looks. Truth be told Keval was much more of a romantic guy than a nice shoes let's fuck. But it had been awhile since he'd been with someone, so he was willing to chance this would be something more than a one night stand kind of thing.

"I'm looking forward to it," he said, then added suggestively, "Please tell me you don't have a roommate."

The lieutenant smiled. "Not that I know of." He made a gesture of waving his arms and looking around. "All me."

"Good," the Andorian replied,"that would make things easier. Assuming that we both have the same thing in mind."

He stepped in closer to the blue man. "Yeah." He said with an entire breath. "I think we do..."

Keval took another step towards the officer, their bodies now just centimeters apart. His eyes locked onto the other man's, both antennae curled slightly forward. There was a faint stirring in his loins.

"Well, I guess I should go. You know, get ready. I need a shower, looks like you could use one too. Of course we could take one together."

The Lieutenant smiled slyly.

"I think your onto something there."

He stepped in closer to the Andorian until his breath could be felt along his neck. Then slowly the officer began to run his hands along Keval's bare sides.

Both of Keval's antennae curled backwards and he smiled broadly. If the Lieutenant wanted to to touch him, who was he to object. Deciding to up the ante he closed the short distance between so their chests were together, he then reached up and let his lips press against the other man's.

Pushing deeply into the kiss, Manuel's uniform began to get tighter in the lower regions. His pushed his groin up against the Andorian's as they moved against each other in sync. Flowing with the rhythm of their lips.

Keval smiled into the kiss as their tongues performed a pirouette He too felt himself growing hard. His hands moved to Manuel's hips and he pulled them together in an even tighter embrace.

Lucero began to sweat again, even with the cold air blowing directly on him.

Keval looked into Lucero's eyes, "You know I'm usually not like this," he said, "I mean I don't just fuck around, but I want you."

Lucero nodded. "I want you too, why don't you make sure that door is locked."
