Mission: Episode 06 - Legend of Souls
Location: Lyshan III: Rec Room
Timeline: MD 09: 2300

ON:

There had been a reason for the boxing to be moved up to this time. With everything that was going on, with everything in the mines...it had been decided that they all needed to loosen up, to let off some steam. And this event would do that. Bets were being taken, the smell of sweat, home made alcohol and the natural smell that came with the planet mingled with perfume from those who wore it. The fighters were either limbering up or preparing themselves mentally...all getting reason to face each other, to solve those tensions that had been lingering there for awhile. Motivations went from the material to the emotional; everyone had something to fight and win for.

Maria Drake's motive to fight was very simple; escape. She had worked on a number of people to manipulate them into moving up the boxing. It fit perfectly with their plan to extract her from this mess and up onto Galileo so she could get back to Intelligence HQ. She glanced across to where Amynta Markos was milling about, playing at getting some last scans and info for her investigation, but really in place ready for her part in the simple extraction plan.

Reaching above her head, Maria held her breath before swinging her body down, her long, blonde tied back hair obscuring her face as she closed her eyes, focussing on what she needed to do. She could take a few hits if it meant getting off this frozen rock.

Val's eyes narrowed as she moved to her, her blond hair was tied back and she moved with power and strength. Her nickname had become Valkyrie whenever she was fighting...and it was clear with her Amazonian frame she was someone to be reckoned with. "Looks like it is going to be us fighting....get some of that sexual tension burned off, 'ey?" she flashed her a quick smile.

"Is that what you're calling it?" Maria replied with mock taunting in her tone, but there was playfulness in her eyes as she tried to gear them up into the mood of fighting each other. She needed Val to really go for her. She moved into the square that had been cleared, securing the strips of fabric she'd wrapped around her hands.

Val moved too, flicking her ponytail before tilting her head. "I got some good stuff on me winning this fight...so I am not going to play nice."

"Good, or it'd be totally hollow when I've kicked your arse down into the deck," Maria flashed a grin, jumping from one foot to the other, slamming her hands together.

Val laughed warmly, her eyes shining as she blew her a kiss. "Shall we talk about it...or fight?"

"Come get me," Maria breathed, moving forward to take her first swipe at her, the group gathered around giving a rush of noise at the fight finally being on.

Val ducked back before hitting, aiming at her stomach. No rules. There was no rules, luckily.

Maria took the hit, the pain making her crease for a moment as she caught her breath. From the lower position, she caught the other woman in the side, followed by a quick punch up to the jaw. It wouldn't do to make it look fake, the fight needed to look completely believable.

Val groaned, her eyes sparking with anger. She hit her, a sneer on her face as she moved forward, using her foot to kick at Maria. She might like Maria and care about her, but the prize meant more to her.

Maria groaned with the hit, but managed to jump back in time to avoid the foot. She half turned to her, using the woman's being off balance with the kick to punch her upperarm hard before smacking her in the cheek, wanting to get her angry enough to go for a big hit in the face or head.

Val gasped before spitting blood, her eyes dark. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand before letting out a cry of anger, rushing at her. She jumped, putting her speed and weight into the hit to her face.

Maria made as if to try and avoid the hit, but took it to her face. The force took her down, making her hit the ground heavily, turning on the way down to fall onto her front with a groan. Even though she was reeling from the hit, her hand shifted under her, freeing the small capsule that had been wrapped in her hand. She swallowed it quickly, having to trust the stuff Amynta had left to her to do its job and fake more serious injuries.

Val pulled her up, smiling as she watched her before slapping her casually. "On your feet!" she ordered her, as she pulled back.

Maria managed to stay up right for a few moments before starting to sway on the spot. She collapsed to the ground, her knees just going from under her, her eyes rolling back into her head as the world went black and her body tensed and jolted.

Val's eyes widened as she rushed forward, kneeling by her. "Shit...medic!" she shouted, looking around. "Now!"

Amynta pushed forward, having no qualms in using her elbows to get where she was needed. She moved to Maria's side, frowning. "We can take her to the Galileo, she can get proper medical attention there..."

One of the cardassian supervisors frowned as he crouched down to take a proper look at her, sighing as he shook his head. "Human women are so fragile," he muttered with frustration. Their own medical facilities were less than great, frail humans didn't always do well under the basic care.

"Downside of humanity. It's why we ended up with big guns," Amynta said smoothly before nodding. "We got permission to transport her?"

The Cardassian rocked back onto his feet, fixing her an irritated look but nodded. If it took an injured human off their hands and out of their under stocked and pretty dire medical room, it was one less problem to worry about as far as he was concerned, especially with a bunch of whining humans so close on their ship to take exception it. And one less human to worry about in general. "Go ahead, if you think you can put her back together."

"We've put worse back together," Amynta said and tapped her commbadge. "This is Markos, medical emergency transport of myself and the person I am holding..." she put her hand on Maria. "Two to beam up."

Moving forward to the figures that shimmered into being, Alexion watched with surprise when he saw one of them was Amynta. "Are you alright?" he asked with obvious concern for her, drawing close as he touched her shoulder.

Amynta nodded, her eyes dark as she watched him. "This is Maria. She's taken a little cocktail that's messing with her vitals. She has also been beaten up a bit..."

"I've got her," Wylde assured quietly, taking hold of Maria with strong arms, even if he glanced to Amynta with concern, not quite believing her that she was okay. Laying her out on the biobed, Alexion started to take scans of the unconscious woman. "Do I even want to know?"

"It's an Intelligence thing," Amynta said before smiling, touching Alexion's back tenderly. "Loose ends."
