Well, I finally did it. I actually told Marika how I feel about her. We're finally together... at least, I think we are. She is the Cheshire Cat... who can be sure what she is thinking? But perhaps that's what I like about her most. She's so complex, so mysterious, yet so lovable.

There was that weird thing about potatoes though. Is it an obsession? Or were we just so far off the same page? I'm not too worried about it, it was just... unexpected.

Anyway, not much else to report. The colony building project continues. All systems on the ship are operating normally. There have been some crew changes... people leaving, coming aboard. I'm used to that from prior service aboard a larger ship, but I still haven't been aboard long enough to know what the Galileo would consider routine.

That's it for now. Almost time for dinner. Marika is coming, her first visit. Actually, the first time anyone has come to visit. Sometimes I miss having a roommate.
