Galileo Day #30
Live Flight hours: 97
Simulator hours: 34

I'm never complaining about being board ever again. Two days ago I was bored. Only too glad to help Luke, I mean lieutenant Wyatt to go check some readings wet were getting from the m class planet. We stumbled on to a group of people I guess they must be smugglers or something. They wanted to take us prisoner but we ran.

It was close. If Luke hadn't been there... He was amazing. terrifying, but amazing. He broke free from being chained up, killed men with his bare hands, faced down a slobbering beast and we jumped off a waterfall.

It was incredible. He was like something out of a Bloodbeard novel. And I was useless. I walked straight into not just one but two ambushes, and was more of a hindrance than a help. If I'd been on my own, or if he hadn't been so damn unkillable. Well, I'd probably be half way to Orion by now. And not by choice. Or I'd be dead. As it was i ended up with a broken throat. Some bastard orion choked me and the bruising nearly suffocated me, so after Luke was done saving me, Doctors Qureshi and Waraquim got their turn.

I was an utter liability, i should have died down there.

And I have to go back.

My mother was there at some point. Or at least someone who knew my mother. They had a whole bunch of flags and banners from various pirate groups, and The Serpents Tooth was there. It was all faded, so not a recent visit, but its more proof she was this side of the alpha quadrant. I almost wished Luke hadn't killed them all. If there could be one, just one, who could have told me something, I'd get choked all over again.
