Galileo Day #
Live Flight hours: 97
Simulator hours: 26

So bored! We landed on Celes III in the middle of an Ion storm, that the stupid atmosphere doesn't do anything to stop, and promptly loose several of the colony modules because some one thought "I know!" Lets send out something with the shielding of a chocolate teapot and the aerodynamics of a bowling ball out into a tempest of electrical energy and nightmare winds where they can fall five or six kilometers to the earth."

Whoever wanted to settle this planet is nuts.

And now we're parked, and since Galileo is home, I'm not going to be taking him anywhere for a bit. Arrrrgh

Rebuilding is coming along. Got to be a crane, and used the support craft to move the wreckage out of the way so they weren't blocking the build site, and that was fun. Also had a nearby scout. there's some good flying nearby.

About twenty kilometres west of here, the mountains kind of thin out into this big Mesa that had all these rivers running through it. Not as big as the Grand Canyon, but same principal. Whole places is a maze. Once you get through that there a huge open salt plain for another three hundred kilometres until you get to the next set of hills that go down to the coast. Will definitely have to go fly that at some point since we won't be back in orbit for another five weeks.

Otherwise I'm going to die of boredom
