I am going to be very blunt in this. I do not like my new...Intelligence officer. I really don't. There are so many reasons not to but the one that really stands out is that there's something shifty about him. Desperate. You can almost smell the desperation on him.

His interest in this murder intrigued me as much as it pissed me off. Using his shift and my resources to investigate a personal matter shows disrespect to the entire Fleet. So I will find out why he is so involved...

Other matters are happening though. The entire mission, the...well. My report will tell of all that.

Personally, I heard Carus has graduated. I say heard, he contacted me and sent me the holostills of himself looking...so tall in that uniform. He rather looks...a bit like his father. But with some of me there too. He is a better man than his father ever was. A better man than most could hope for. I hope I get to see him soon. I...miss him. And I want him to meet Alexion.

Alright, computer. Enough of this nonsense. I need to get back to work and see what I can figure out on Faye.
