Computer record.....

Stardate 68225.9

I have been checking is with various NCO's across the ship and have found that the ship is full of very competent NCO's, all very well trained and well versed at training. This could be one of the finest trained crew on a deployment that I have been on.

I had a conversation with the ship's Quartermaster, regarding the training of the Engineer NCO staff on the ship's flight controls. Just in case the worse case scenario were to happen and the ship was required to be steered from Main Engineering. I can remember that happened once on the USS Galaxy. Talk about a crash course in helm operations.

I am hoping I will be able to continue my morning breakfast with Commodore Saalm, and have something similar with Captain Holliday. I have found that the morning ritual had brought the Commodore to trust not only me as a person, but my judgments and advise. I have no doubt that Captain Holliday will be just as receptive.

There has been no serious infractions or disciplinary actions taken since my last official log, and for that I am grateful. I just hope it holds up. We'll see once the crew finds out we are possibly going to be dealing with ghosts.

End log.
