Scientist Mate's Log

So, I'm being told by one of the grumpier scientists that I shouldn't have gotten myself tribbles, and that they were all way too easy to lose track of. I'm all set to prove everyone who's been disapproving of Pip and Pup wrong. I've read up all the books on tribbles and know exactly how to care for them! I've made sure to read up on all the books that have been suggested by my more supportive peers.

The books all said tribbles favor grains and veggies, and, so long as I fed my tribbles properly, then there wouldn't be any issues what-so-ever! Pip and Pup are pretty well-behaved after a good meal, and they'll cuddle up with me while I'm studying everything Lihra puts in front of me. I think Pup finds it boring though, sitting and not playing. I should find time to play with them too... I wonder what tribbles play with.

I was trying to train Pip earlier, how to roll over. I think she managed it, but I couldn't tell. Pup might be learning how to fetch, but he may have just been trying to get into my sweets. I have to be careful about that. Once they're in their cage though, nothing can go wrong!

I've been told not to give them genders either, but that's just silly. Just because a tribble reproduces asexually doesn't mean I can't give them genders! I think all that age is getting to some of the wrinkly scientists' heads. They probably haven't gotten laid in a millennia. Whatever.

I'll show them. Pip and Pup are way too well-behaved to be all naughty anyway.
