Computer, start recording... Scientist's log, stardate... I can't even remember. Whatever.

I have never worked so hard in my life. Even med school wasn't like this. two days ago, the Borg attacked the Galileo and I don't think I've slept more than an hour since. There were so many people hurt after the attack, and medical was overwhelmed, so I just threw myself in. God, it was unbelievable. I've just never seen anything like it... And the injuries... I barely even feel it though. As long as I have a patient in front of me, another injury to work on, it's like I have unlimited energy.

And the medical staff on the Galileo are amazing. It's been inspiring. They lost friends, too, but they've been there for their crew and haven't let up. Honestly, the last two days reminded me why I went into medicine in the first place. This has been so much more real than my lab work.

I just hope it isn't all for nothing in the end. Well, back to work.

Computer, end recording
