"Computer begin recording.

"Well, my shoulder is dead for the time being. I guess I should start from the beginning. The ship got attacked by the Borg. Apparently they aren't really the true Borg, but this lowly security officer isn't privy to all that information. Not that I have tried to find out.

Borg came on the ship. A confrontation happened. I killed two of them but one of them tried to rip my arm off. Currently I have it in a sling and the docs promise they will get to it when they can. I sure hope it is soon."

(Audible sigh)

"From this moment on I am just going to keep my head down. I am going to do my job and stay the hell away from Vernon Banks. Audible sigh I had fun it was enjoyable...but he...is an ass. I should have seen that coming."

(Audible pause)

"Made a new friend. His name is Luke...uh...something. He is a Marine. We met on the shooting range and he helped me with my marksmen ship. He was actually quite knowledgeable. It was refreshing to find out what I was doing wrong...That is not to say that I will become some amazing sharp shooter, but it is nice to be at least a little more accurate.

"As payment for his generosity we are exchanging fight training. He will help me improve my marksmanship and I will help him with his hand to hand combat. I think it is a fair trade but I doubt he will find the lessons as easy as he thinks. I must admit I am rather amused by that fact.

"Well, I think that just about covers it. I am going to focus on keeping my head down until I can be returned to my ship. I am going to do my best to protect this ship in the mean time, and I am going to avoid all intimate interactions with anyone else....that shouldn't be too hard considering.

"Computer end recording."
