"Computer start recording...

"Well, the Venture is mostly dead. Thankfully we had separated from the saucer section. All in all, I am lucky to still have my life." (Audible pause) "It isn't a surprise that Borg over powered the ship. Luckily for us the Galileo was in close proximity. We are being treated well here. They have put us up in some makeshift quarters. Not bad for a small science vessel."

(Audible pause)

"I have met someone. I guess met is the wrong word. I already knew Warrant Officer Banks from the Venture. I guess you could say that things between us have developed past co-workers. I just hope that Gerald will understand. I am not sure what this will hold in the future but for now it is what it is. "

"I am not sure what else to say. I guess I am in a bit of shock."
