I have finally trrransferrred! I am wrrrriting this log from the Galileo, wherrre I expect to serrrve for the forrreseeable future. Sadly, I spent so long on the Venturrre that I missed out on participation in the Rrrrrrrrrrojarrrrrrrrr system survey - what a strrrange name for a starrr system! Therrre would have been some interrresting flying opportunities as the scientists examined all of the varrrious planetarrry bodies and asterrroids, but I am not concerned: I am surrre I will have ample opporrrtunities on ourrr next assignment, of which I know little yet.

Ample, that is, unless Commanderrr Holliday intervenes. He is the ship's executive officerrr and seemed less than imprrressed with me. He even darrred question my piloting skills! Me! S'Ranna T'Srrr'Kharh, firrrst in herrr class in Auxiliarrry Crrraft Flight Operrrations, forrrmerrr test pilot at the Test Flight Rrrrange! Harrrrrrrrrumph! In any case, I have been prrractising on the holodeck such that when I am next on Brrrridge duty with the Commanderrr, I can gave him a little - shall we say - demonstrrrration - of my trrrrue skills. It shall be most enterrrtaining to see his rrrreaction, hehehe!

But it may have to wait. I will not be serrrving with him any time soon: I will be on Gamma shift. I had been expecting such, as the juniorrr officerrr. I do not mind. The night suits me better anyway. I also trrrust that I will plenty of flying experrrience underrr Lieutenant Mialin: she is the Flight Contrrrrol Officerrrr. She is half Betazoid, half Trrrrill, and seems very frrrriendly and prrrofessional. I also met her Assistant, Lieutenant Rrrrrral. She is - no, rrrreally - half Betazoid and half Klingon! I have never been hearrring of such a thing, but therrre she is, in the flesh. She was verrry frrriendly, too: maybe she is a bit more Betazoid than she is Klingon?

But with two qualified seniorrr flight contrrrollerrrs, I have to believe most of my time will be spent in the shuttlebay. This is good, as the Galileo has just got some new crrrraft. One of them is a rrrrunabout, the Marrrrina. It is being a fine vessel, and I had the pleasurrre of brrringing it aboarrrd myself. With a little excurrrsion, just to keep myself on my paws. I have yet to meet the pilots, the non-coms, but I am looking forrrward to it - they arrrre always morrre fun!

I will be wrrrriting morrre next month when I am being on boarrrd longerrr, but forrr now I am happy on my new ship, with my new frrrriends and my new rrrresponsibilities. Much of my time will no doubt be spent on the holodeck and on shuttlecrrraft maintenance, but I hope to have a little time to meet some of the scientists and generrral crrrew. My quarterrrs are nice and comforrrtable and I have set up the scrrratching post Uncle K'Rreer got me forrr my birrrrthday in the corrrnerrr. Tomorrrow I will begin my exerrrcise rrroutine again. I wonderrr if anyone else on boarrrd enjoys dancing - therrre is only one way to find out!
