Computer, begin log.

Well, today was the big day. First day of high school. A new beginning, new challenges, new friends, and all that. But in reality, it turned out to be a disaster.

Things were going good up until third period. I thought me and Jaana had all our classes lined up, but then when we went to math class, we found out we were in different classes. Apparently there was a glitch in the computer, or so they say.

I tried to do something about it; I even went to the principal's office, but they said they couldn't change it. It's not fair. We were supposed to take all our classes together.

Worse still, in all the confusion, I was late for class. Since there were no seats left, I had to sit in the corner with another girl named Nea. She's... interesting. I'm pretty sure she dyes her hair; she said she was going for a Morticia Addams look, whoever that is.

"Tuula, are you done yet? I want to get to sleep!"

On the other hand, maybe hanging out with Nea instead of Jaana isn't going to be so bad after all...

*sound of a thrown pillow hitting Tuula's face*
