Personal Log 3 - New Ship

Aren looked at the PADD in his hand. “Computer, start personal log.”

"We have left the colony on Kreanus, and are two days out from the nebula. There has been some startling reservations. Admiral Saalm is alive. She was rescued just moments before the destruction of the Galileo, however she was injured as well as having to deal with some rather serious personal issues." Aren said pausing for a moment before leaning back in his chair. "I am keeping an eye on the Admiral, while I have reservations about her ability to command at the moment, she is vital to both the Klingon and Federation crew integration and morale. I will support her to the best of my abilities."

Aren scratched his cheek in absent thought. "To be honest, I still have reservations about our mission parameters as well as not contacting Starfleet, but it was requested by the colony leadership that we conduct this mission in secret, which I can understand and ultimately have to abide by. We are currently in the process of integrating both the Klingon and Federation crew though there have been some...issues. I am hopeful we have dealt with those matters and they wont resurface."

"On a positive note, we are currently en-route to Qu'nos, and should be there in a few weeks. Once we complete our mission objective, we should be on the fast track to getting home. I do have some concerns with how we are going to turnover operation and command back to the Klingon's once the mission has been complete. But that is a question and conversation best left for a another time." Aren nodded to the screen. "I think that summs up the last few days, Computer, end log."
