Hm, they decorate their quarters. I wonder if that's significant. Probably. Everything's significant. Ah, a bed... comfortable, but after fourteen years in stasis I don't want a nap. Fourteen years! I can't believe... the Founders lost.

Now what? I don't want to be with these Starfleet people anymore than I want to be with the Dominion. Why couldn't I just make it out of the alpha quadrant... find some quiet corner of the galaxy... Well, nothing to do but get along here.

Some of them aren't so horrible. The security ensign, Aria, she's most understanding. Probably too young to remember the war. I think the doctor must have been harmed by the war, something psychological no doubt.

Well, let's see. Gain their trust first, they seem to think I am able to destroy the ship by looking at the right control panel. I shall show them I am no more dangerous then a kava nut. I'm not quite sure yet what the commander thinks of me, I doubt he is sure either. I wonder what happened to their captain.

Let's see, captain missing, obvious signs of heavy internal damage. Floating in a nebula near a top-secret Starfleet facility. There must have been a security breach. Some enemy has discovered the base. But this is a nova class, so it must be some sort of science equipment... maybe an experimental weapon. Their enemies attacked, this ship was caught in the attack and heavily damaged. They escaped into the nebula, but not before losing their captain. He's still alive though, the commander's attitude was not that of someone filling the roll of a dead captain. Either captured, in which case they were boarded, or else delayed on some other mission.

Now they are still hiding in the nebula, so their mission cannot be complete. Their enemy is still out there, waiting, hunting. They will make a break for it soon, to some safe region. My ship frightened them. Hm... could the war with the Dominion still be going on? Perhaps they've lied to me. I need more information before I take action. Until then... guess I will try some more stuff from the replicator. Fascinating little device. Oh, and their computer, she is delightful...
