Thoughts From Hanging.

190 words; about a 1 minute read

He is having me wait longer...been over an hour...I hope the Captains is alright. Onions are tough...

Me on the other hand...I...I do not know anymore.

I am an El-Aurian a race commonly known as "Listeners"

Listeners...I hate that description. It is as if our only contribution is our ears.

I need to get out of here, I can barely feel my hands and my arms are getting numb.

Holliday you better get your ass here quick, this damn General is getting on my last nerve, and...it is either he kills me or I go mad.

Right now Death is sounding like a better option... it would be my salvation.

He said he will kill me when he returns unless I betray my crew.

I can be a bitch sometimes, but I am never a traitor. My death won't be empty.

Death could give me what I've wanted for over a hundred years since that fateful morning on the Lexington.

Something I've tried to build on my own but to only face the sorrows...

I want a Home to go back to.
