Location: USS Galieo Deck 3 - Security Offices
Timeline: MD 02 - 2100 HRS

ON:

Cyrus knew he was almost finished with the interviews and the rosters of each and every department who seemed interested. So he had began to call in the possible recruits. " Senior Chief Petty Officer Willis, you are requested for an interview at Security Office 3C." He announced through the comm. He was done running around for the day. It was time someone came to him for a change.

=^=Acknowledged, Chief. On my way.=^= answered Willis.

A few minutes later the Senior Chief walked into the Security Department and noticed Cyrus. "Hey Chief. You rang?"

"I did Arthur, have a seat." He motioned to one of the seats next to his desk. " So a little birdie told me you be interested in using your powers of streaking for the betterment of the ship." He joked, easing back in the chair. "Would you like something from the replicator?"

Willis had heard once that the best cup of replicated coffee you can find is in security. Not the best brewed, but the best replicated. He was about to test it. With a twinkle in his eye he grinned and answered. "Jamaican, dark brew. Double strong, triple sweet...please."

Willis answered the first question while waiting on his hot java. "My powers of streaking are only reserved for large crowds." he joked. "Is this the tactical group, thingy?"

"It would be. I wanted to see if you were as interested as Ensign Peers made it seem. " Cyrus couldn't help but chuckle. "It's dangerous work and you could be called in at anytime that the Captain, the XO or Lieutenant Stone see it fit to use the TRT. It would also mean that you would have a secondary itinary on top of your department." He held out a hand. "Not a large one mind, and certainly nothing that would be intrusive to your original duties on the ship. It would be a one day per seven day cycle where you would receive the training and testing. "

"Lieutenant Stone, you say? Is that the guy that is giving Quinn so much trouble?" Willis leaned back and placed his hands behind his head. "Yeah, count me in, Chief."

Cyrus sighed. "Quinn is a grumpy veteran, and Stone is a grumpy ex- POW. " He explained. "I don't see how those personalities wouldn't mesh well." He replied, sarcasm oozing throughout the sentence. "I'm glad to here it Arthur, I was really hoping you would say yes. Besides, if any Klingons run by, I'll just have you drop your pants." He grinned. "They won't even know what hit them."

Willis smiled, then wrinkled his forehead. "I'm not sure if that was a compliment or an insult, Chief.....but thanks, I think. This should be a nice break for me, and something to rub in the old man's face about."

"Well, I'll let you know and Enisgn Peers about the testing dates. Once that's done I'm sure that we'll be able to get the itinerary fixed up with no problem. Do you have any questions about with Arthur? I'm an open book."

Shaking his head, Willis remarked. "Nope. I think I'm pretty good, Chief. Just eager to do my part."

Cyrus nodded. "Alright then PO, you're dismissed, I'll forward a memo concerning training times and testing once all the people have been selected. "

"Thanks, Chief." stated Willis as he stood up. "Oh, before I go, I wanted to let you know that Quinn is almost done brewing up another batch of his homemade stuff....just a little fyi for ya."

Cyrus stifled a grin. "Now, PO...I hope you aren't insinuating I partake with you while I'm on duty...I will have to check on mister Quinn after hours to make sure he hasn't done anything wrong." Cyrus gave an informal salute. "I'll talk to you later Willis. Let Quinn know, I'll have to sample it for security purposes."

Willis gave a chuckle. "Aye-aye, Chief. I let the old sea-dog know."
