Jeremy smacked his commbadge with his offhand as he entered into the shuttlebay. What he noticed because he wasn't running for cover, was one of the shuttlecraft being prepped for launch. He stopped firing as he made his own way to cover.

==^==Stone to Bridge, we're making entry into the shuttlebay now. Has anyone ordered a shuttle launch?==^==

==^==Negative. No one from up here.==^==

==^==Understood, intruders must be trying to use it to make good their escape. Teams concentrate on target acquisition to minimize friendly fire. Make sure-==^==

He stopped as he detected movement coming from the side of the shuttlebay. He noticed the dark haired man trying to drag Cho to one of the shuttles. She pulled away from him, giving just a moment of clearance between her and the intruder.

Corbin made his way toward the rear of the Type-9 shuttle, but was distracted by the officers who'd come in through the blast doors. He fired a shot in their direction, pushing Cho to the floor. "Open the door!" he shouted into his commbadge.

Through the cockpit window, Muldaur watched the shuttlebay begin to flood with security personnel. He then realised there was a good chance that Corbin would have to remain behind, but it wasn't over just yet. Using the command codes, he accessed the shuttlebay controls and began to open the shuttlebay doors. Corbin had maybe thirty seconds to get on board before he would have to abandon him.

Chara ran through the shuttlebay along with her team, phaser drawn. She'd given the rifle to Kiwosk, but she flipped hers onto maximum stun and fired at the shadow of the figure running toward the shuttle with Lieutenant Cho on hand. She made a quick decision, eyebrows narrowed together. They were going to take Cho onto that shuttle, the man was almost there, and he might have had the information necessary to figure out who they were. She put the phaser on the highest level before kill and aimed for his head, not giving him time to use Cho as leverage or hurt her, firing a quick stream of energy and hitting him dead on, so that he both dropped and let go of Cho. She didn't stop to wonder if he was dead, injured or anything else.

Corbin moved to grab Cho by the back of her jacket, to shield himself. As he bent over to pull her up toward, him a burst of phaser energy planted itself into the crown of his skull. There was a sharp tingling sensation that shot from his skull to his toes and back in mere fractions of seconds, faster than his brain could have processed. The phaser energy, because it was so concentrated on his head, was absorbed by his brain and nervous system. Every synapse in his brain filled with many thousands of times more energy than they were capable of handling, causing an overload. As he was essentially fried from the inside out, Corbin let out a blood-curdling scream as he went down. The side of his head smashed against the shuttle nacelle with enough force that, if the synpatical overload wasn't enough, his neck was mortally broken. With his eyes wide, the phaser still gripped tightly in his hand, his head turned inhumanly, Corbin was dead.

She felt herself float upwards, then twisty. Landing on her side Kiri could see what happened. The scream, the flash, the blood, his body hit the ground. Was he stunned, was he dead? She wanted to scream, they had stopped him, it was horrible.

"Grab Cho!" Chara shouted, trying to figure out how they could stop the shuttlebay doors from opening. She helped Cho to her feet and shoved her into the hands of Kiwosk, before looking around to find a control panel.

Cyrus had been firing pot shots to the right and left, his angle didn't leave much to be desired in the way of clean shots. He was hoping to line a clean shot enough for Chara who was angled slightly better. When he saw the well placed shot he smiled before turning his rifle upward to receive Kiri.

He sat Kiri down behind the cover of his body and the crates and returned the rifle back into position with Military precision. "That shuttle is powering up, sir!" Cyrus roared.

Jeremy advanced forward smashing his commbadge. ==^==Davis keep those shuttle doors closed!==^==

"I can't!" Davis said back to the comm system, operating the board. He looked back over at Holliday. "They used the Captain's codes to override the shuttle and bay doors. I can't stop them."

Jeremy moved forward, taking Cho from Kiwoski. "Chief, I want that man on the shuttle alive!" Saying that he grabbed Chandra and shoved her at Cho. "See to her," he said taking the phaser pistol and checking the setting before lowering it and shoving it back at her.

Cyrus nodded and slung the rifle onto his back. "Well then we're burning daylight boss! " He began to sprint towards the shuttle at full speed.

"I'll deal with you later, you make sure she gets under cover and keep her there!" He snapped at her before following behind Kiwoski.

"Understood," Chara said, helping Cho to stand up straight and guiding her toward a back column amidst the chaos around them. "Lieutenant, you alright?" she asked, kneeling down and flashing a small light over Cho's face, checking her pupils and checking for wounds, kneeling over her.

Being pulled to her feet hurt and Kiri found it almost impossible to keep her balance. She was being dragged again and she wanted to resist, she just couldn't. It didn't make sense, wasn't he stunned how was he dragging her? Eyes not quite focused it was a blur, when a face appeared she couldn't make it out, the light made her close her eyes, words caused her to mumble incoherently.

Chara shook her head to herself. Lost cause, this one. At least for now. They'd have to wait it out until they got to medical. "Lieutenant Cho," she tried again, speaking firmly and cutting through the fog in Kiri's brain, at least she hoped. Chara placed one of her three-fingered hands under Cho's chin, gently tilting her head upward to look in her eyes. "My name is Chara, you're alright now. We need to lay low. Do you understand?"

Kiri wasn't going anywhere. The woman, at least she thought it was a woman now was too close. She wanted everyone to leave her alone, just let her go. Swallowing a lump in her throat she nodded as it was replaced with another.

Quinn jumped up from the access hatch that was adjacent to the Hunley-Class shuttle. Sliding to a stop on his knees, Quinn quickly pressed the red button, and a loud CLACK sounded across the bay as the grav -locks caught hold of all the shuttles. He knew if they were determined, it would only be a minor distraction, but a few extra seconds was hopefully all the teams would need.

Cyrus noted to his left side that Stone was right behind him. Unslinging his rifle he began firing on the shuttle, aiming for the propulsion shafts that were located near the back and bottom of the shuttle. If he could disable one of them, it could by them enough time to board. "Sir we need to disable the craft if we're going to have time to get on the damned thing!" He knew how Stone was going to take it, but his instincts knew that they were already out of time the second that shuttle began powering up.

Jeremy weaved to the right, going behind Kiwoski as he sprinted for the back of the shuttle craft. Five meters from the shuttle craft he threw himself to the ground, sliding feet first toward the craft as he fired at a specific spot. A panel popped. Without thinking, he ripped the rest of it off before holstering his pistol. It would be a tight fit but it was a way into the shuttle. Except...damned blueprints! They never built anything to specs. He heard the whine of the engines around him. He dropped back as something sparked inside the access panel and he heard a slight 'click' around the edge of the shuttle. It sounded oddly like magseal doors opening.

He pulled himself up, scanning. It was supposed to be an access port, but it would be a tight fit for even Chandra. Damned engineers! Why couldn't they build things the way they were supposed to be! He rolled back and to his feet barely moving back before the engines came to life and fried the position he was just in.

Without thinking, again, he used the open accessway as a leverage to leap up, grabbing to the top of the shuttlecraft. He rolled to his back, holstering his pistol as he pulled out the PADD.

Muldaur was meanwhile busy inside the shuttle cockpit. Corbin was dead and Cho was now returned to their custody. He was on his own. He felt the rod in his pocket, thinking that at least the mission hadn't entirely failed. He had been fighting the computer for control over the shuttlebay doors, which had only partially opened. They now seemed to be in lockout, despite his command codes. There were now two options: he could either blow them out with an emergency decompression sequence, or he could shoot them. He decided to go with the decompression sequence; being planetside would prevent any physical harm to the shuttlebay's occupants.

The shuttle rose about a metre from the floor and turned about. Muldaur paid no attention to who was standing beside it or whether anyone was close enough to be hit. It was up to them to move out of his way. Another thirty seconds had passed while he made a back-road access to the decompression protocols. The decompression alarm sounded, the forcefield over the doors dropped, and the doors blew out. The shuttle burst from the shuttlebay and made an ascent to three thousand kilometres. Muldaur set the shuttle's autopilot to return to the ship. He then lowered his shields, pressed his emergency beam-out chip and disappeared.

Jeremy felt the rise of the shuttlecraft and operated quickly, grabbing access to shuttle's controls. Unfortunately that took him longer than he wanted and the shuttlecraft was already moving forward. Jeremy forced open the side door, knowing it would automatically reset giving him five seconds.

He dropped down the side and into the open doorway. It clipped him as it closed, knocking him off balance. The sudden acceleration of the shuttle further knocked him off balance. Jeremy jumped to his feet and ran forward, to the cockpit.

Just in time to see the silver shimmer of the beam out.

"DAMN!" he screamed as he moved forward.

Whoever it was hadn't used the shuttle's transporter, where he beamed to was a mystery. Jeremy scowled as he sat down at the control panel, suddenly aware of his situation.

"Stone to Galileo," he said, tapping his commbadge. "I'm on the shuttle and... I need assistance. I don't know how to fly these things."

Chara stood and tapped her commbadge, speaking quickly into it. "Pull the thruster configuration up, on the main console! Take your foot and place it on the pad to the far right, and tap the yellow button at the left side of your console by the thruster screen, you need to decelerate, now! Once you do that you can press the green button enabled manual, and take the thruster and turn it back toward Galileo! After this you can hit the blue one and get a lock right into the shuttlebay."

Cyrus lowered his rifle and cursed. "Damn it!" The mix of emotions that flooded his thoughts were a flurry of rage and disappointment. He walked over to one of the crates and sat down, letting Chandra guide the Lieutenant back to the shuttle bay.

Jeremy started to follow instructions but realized he had no idea what a 'thruster' was. Space darkened around the shuttlecraft and he was still accelerating. By now Chandra had said something about a yellow button marked manual. But...he didn't see it.

"No go, Galileo," he said. Why was he on the shuttlecraft! He wasn't rated for these. He wasn't allowed to fly a shuttlecraft! Wasn't Kiwoski just right behind him? Did he not make it onto the craft? "I don't understand! Slow it down...just tell me how to set it to automatically land!"

"The configuration that looks like a thruster!" Chara repeated. "On the console in front of you, the terminal. It should resemble something like a steering wheel, but... thruster-y!" she tried again with an eyeroll. "Take your finger and press the release button to the side, then draw your finger up on the touchpad and press your foot on the far right pad on the floor. With me so far?"

Jeremy grabbed the - thing - in front of him that had a wheellike look to it and tried pulling up on it, in the most literal way possible. "It's locked or something, it won't come up!"

Quinn shook his head as he knew something happened to the mag-locks he had activated, and something told him it was that damned hot dog Security Chief again. =^-Transporter Control, this is Quinn. Lock onto the shuttle that just exited the ship and beam it back into the shuttle bay please.=^=

==^==Wilco, CoB.==^== then a moment later. ==^==Can someone please explain to that guy how to shut down the engines so when I beam it into the shuttle bay it doesn't crash into the side of the ship?==^==

=^=Quinn to Stone. There is big red button in the center of the console, underneath a blue and green panel. Hit the big red button, twice. Hurry, before it's too late.=^=

Too late for what? Jeremy wanted to ask, but was afraid it would take too much time to answer and whatever it was too late for would happen. Unless, he did believe Quinn would actively try to get him killed. But shuttles didn't have self destruct did they? It couldn't be that easy. He hit the button once and waited for alerts or alarms and when none sounded hit it again.

==^==Got it, transporting now.==^==
