Mimi took her time with the dessert savouring as much of it as her body could taste, eventually she finished and wiped her mouth with a napkin. "That was good." She said then finished off her drink. "Shall we?"

"Lead on my queen. Let me promenade you on the promenade!" John chuckled a little.

Picking up her bag Mimi led the way out of the bar with a spring in her tail.

John wrapped his arm around hers and just walked out with his head high. He noted several others looking. She was cute, but she was also unusual as well. Some trying to figure out if she was Caitian, Kziniti, a mix or something else. John only smiled at the passerbys, but in his mind he always thought: "Look, but don't touch!" He would quite happily go to the station brig if need be.

Their walk led them through several sections of the starbase. The shops on the promenade where Mimi bought more trinkets to add to her collection, the arboretum where she walked barefoot across an open grassed area taking in the innumerable scents of plants from all across the galaxy, stopping off and sharing a few kisses in front of the huge window with the best view of the Mutara nebula.

Eventually they arrived suspiciously close to Mimi's temporary quarters. "I have the sequel to Starcrossed if you wanted to come in and watch it with me."

"I sure would. Any time I get to spend with you, is like a gift from heaven. Iff'n I have not told you that yet, well I am ah tellin' you now." John made a little bow. "After you my lady."

Mimi smiled then stepped forward to open the door, for a junior officers quarters they were quite luxurious and much larger than she'd expected. "Not bad, better than both of ours on the Galileo."

"Lady, Donald and I have literally just been using sleeping bags on the floor in engineering lately. Anything slightly better than that is going to feel a godsend." John waved a hand. He followed after a moment and instead of paying much attention to the decor, he gently ran a hand along part of her tail. "You know I was never sure about this thing, but now I could not imagine anything better. Dang Iffn' I don't feel half-naked without one."

Mimi's tail twitched as John 's fingers ran over it, the fur standing on end. "I was not sure about this either, never thought my first relationship would be with a non Nekomi." She pulled a data chip out of her bag and began to head over to a screen to load up the movie.

John went over to the replicator. Though they just had a big meal, he could go for something with maybe a little bubble in it. A tad of alcohol would not hurt either. "Feel like something sparkly. Like we need to celebrate we survived the Tholians and all that mess. Would you like a glass queen of my life?"

"Just a little one." Mimi said smiling, she plopped herself down on the sofa and waited for John to join her.

"You got it, supernova!" John got a bit of champagne synthesised up and poured a couple of glasses with one being fuller than the other. He turned back and went to where the couch was and took a seat holding the glasses waiting on Mimi. When she was ready, he handed the one with less liquid in it to her.

"To you light of my life!" John toasted her.

Mimi laughed slightly. "I like that name." She took her glass then after John was settled on the sofa she leaned up against him and started the film.

John took another sip before setting the glass to one side and pulling her close. He just loved the feel of her fur. Those ears, well he might try to see if he could get a little nuzzle and nip once the movie got going a bit.

As the movie progressed Mimi leaned more into John, unconsciously scent marking him considerably as she gently purred. It was nice to spend time with him completely alone, with almost no chance of them getting interrupted.

John did not pay that much attention to the movie. It was archaic as heck and a bit slow for his taste, but she liked it. Instead after a point he nuzzled around the base of the closest ear. He made little kisses but did not nip at it, though sorely tempted. It struck him, he was not sure exactly what turned Nekomi on. Did they kiss exactly, what were the things they did. He knew there were some spots that she found sensitive and erotic but that was the extent of his knowledge. He just hoped that he was not doing the wrong thing.

Mimi purred more intently as John nuzzled her ear, she gently stroked his leg as she enjoyed the feeling of his warm breath and lips against her fur. "Allyndra gave me some interesting information yesterday." She eventually said, finally putting words to the thought that had been going around her head since the day before.

"The second officer?" John looked curiously at the Nekomi. "Thought the first officer usually handled problems?"

"She is the Cmo too remember, me and Allyndra are close." Mimi reminded him. "She has been running a whole bunch of tests and stuff with me for a while and the results finally came in."

John sat up worried. "Something wrong with you? Geez Mimi don't tell me you're ill or somethin'!"

Mimi gently pushed John back down. "It is nothing like that, just a little something I have been waiting to find out for some time, since after our little adventure on the beach."

"Like what? That you have the cutest nose ever?" John gave it a very gentle tweak.

Mimi made a playful attempt to nip John's fingers as he tweaked her nose "It was a lot of medical speak I did not quite understand but in short she said. It would be safe if we were to.... you know... have sex."

John looked like he had been just sucker punched. He had the most shocked and yet stunned look on his face. He had always loved the little Nekomi and he definitely would not mind spending his life with her but there had always been that thought that she was just a girl out of place. "I...I...see," he sputtered those words out trying to get his brain working again. "I mean, well, I mean only if you want. I could just snuggle you forever as well but...well." He stopped and then chuckled. "I am making a big ass out myself aren't I?"

"You are so funny when you are... flustered." Mimi said chuckling too, she took John's hand in hers. "What do you think?"

"What do you think? I mean, geez yes, but this has got to be mutual."

Mimi smiled glad John would agree to it if she did. "I would like to try it, at least once." She gently pulled John's hand up to her shoulder where the strap of her dress lay against her smooth skin.

John just pulled her closer and then kissed her gently at first. She was a bit different then a human girl, so he was just trying to make sure it was something that she liked. As he did so, he slowly slipped the straps down her shoulders.

Purring gently as John kissed her Mimi shifted position till she straddled John's legs, when both straps were down she slipped her arms out of the holes and with a slight shake made the dress slip off her chest revealing her bare breasts.

John broke the kiss for only a moment to stare at the revealed breasts and then he gently kissed each one, sucking gently before returning to kiss her along her neck and moving his hands to massage and play with the nipples. "Good Lord, you're just so soft and beautiful sweetie." He managed to say between kisses.

Mimi gently held John's shoulders, feeling the firm muscles that lay under his shirt as he explored her chest with his hands and mouth. "That is such a nice feeling." She told him.

John was glad she was feeling good but decided he was not going to wait much further. He swept his arms around her and picked her up and moved toward the bed. "Let's get you out of that dress." He chuckled a little before setting her back down on her feet.

As if hearing John's request, the second his hands left Mimi's body the dress slipped off her lithe form, catching on her tail for a moment before pooling around her feet leaving her in only her light blue slightly frilly underwear. Fighting her instinct to cover herself up Mimi reached for the bottom of John's shirt. "Your turn." She said

John chuckled but then said, "Rip it off." He stood up straight and held his arms out.

Taking John's shirt Mimi quickly pulled it up and off his body, pressing herself against him she nuzzled his chest inhaling his strong scent whilst marking him with her own. She snaked a hand down his wait and began to undo his pants.

John just chuckled slightly. He was ready, more than ready, but hoped that everything would work out. Still he was going to try to make this as memorable for her as possible. He nibbled gently at her ears, kissed the side of her neck while she worked on his clothing. Finally he helped her just a little and then with a big swoop picked her up and set her on the bed following along. He kissed her from her throat working his way down to the breasts. Pausing for a bit of time to lick and gently tug at the nipples. Slowly, almost teasingly, he worked his way lower and lower. Finally using his thumbs to part the labia and his fingers to gently play along the folds, before he began to use his tongue.

John teased her for a little while longer and then stood. He pulled her gently toward the edge of the bed. She was small, and he did not want to put his full weight on her. A mild whimper left Mimi's mouth when John entered her for the first time, there was a little stab of pain and discomfort to begin with. She looked up at him and smiled slightly letting him know she was alright.

She seemed to be fine, so he began to increase his pace, holding back as much as he could. "Damn," he thought, "been too long."

Gradually the discomfort lessened being replaced with feelings she'd never felt before, more and more purrs and gentle moans left Mimi's lips. "Mmhhh John, this is such a weird feeling."

John just kept going, a bit harder, a bit faster trying his damndest to hold back and let Mimi enjoy the feeling. He did not know anything, but figured that they had climaxes as well.

Through the haze of new feelings coursing around her body Mimi heard the grunt and noticed a change in John's expression and movements, she assumed he'd finished and filled her with his seed.

"You do not need to apologise for anything John." Mimi said not entirely certain what he was apologising for, she had certainly enjoyed herself. She wrapped her arms around him hugging him tight as he kissed her.

John was not finished with her quite yet. He wanted to give her something special and was darn well going to work at it. He again began kissing and playing with her nipples and rubbing her breasts. He then felt ready and slowly entered her again. This time, there was not the urgency and he moved gently in and out of her.

With the nervous tension of her first time abating Mimi let herself relax more and revel in the feeling of John's touch.

John was just focused on making sure that she was the complete focus of everything this time. He was slow and gentle and spent time kissing her. Slow and gentle but he did begin to work just a little harder and faster. Damn he thought, think I might have to talk to the medical officer, got no idea what to do with someone like her. Hopefully though she was going to find this as good as a human girl would.

After a little more of John's ministrations Mimi started to pant as her body's few sweat glands couldn't keep up with the sudden flush of heat that went up her body. "John I do not know what is happening, my body feels like it is on fire." she said through pants that were laced with fairly heavy groans.

John slowed. He did not need to have her have some sort of problem. On fire was usually a good thing, but he could hear her panting hard and worried about her literally overheating. He stopped for a moment. "Catch your breath sweetheart. Maybe take a break?" he suggested.

"Nyas, do not stop John." Mimi said the strange feeling starting to overwhelm her, she hooked her legs around his hips holding him tightly.

John just chuckled, his concerns melting away and started again. He bent forward while he thrust and sucked at her nipples hoping the extra stimulation might help her to her own climax.

John got down on the bed and pulled her close. "Here let me just hold onto you for a bit." He pulled her close and began to just gently stroke a hand down her while he snuggled her.

Mimi melted into John's embrace. "I can see why people enjoy doing that, it was a lot of fun, so many weird feelings."

"Well yes. Of course it has a certain function as well, but I made sure I got some shots. Always have even if I never bothered on shore leave before."

"For procreation." Mimi said knowing what John meant by 'certain function' "My kind do not usually do things like this until we are married."

John pursed his lips wondering if he had breached some protocol. He loved the Nekomi but marriage was a somewhat big step and also it could affect her career. He was a nut buster, so it did not mean much to him, but she was a commissioned officer and that made a world of difference. Even so they were sort of skirting the rules.

"Well damn, should have said somethin' darlin'! I mean I did not know."

"Hey." Mimi rolled over to face him shuffling up the bed slightly so her face reached his. "I am not in a usual relationship for a Nekomi, there are no other Nekomi around so I think I can do what I want." She said smiling slightly then kissed him.

John pulled her tighter and kissed her back. "Just a stupid nut buster. I have little education in xenobiological and cultural norms. So, I am just gonna' say, if I do somethin' wrong, it is sheer lack of education. Now come here, and let's see if can't make go around two a bit more fun."
