Location: USS Galileo - Gym / Counseling Office
Timeline: MD -02 1700 Hours

[ON]

Luke sat on the bench wiping his face with his trust sweat rag he always took when he went to the gym, he was supposed to be undergoing some counselling sessions but decided punching bags filled with sand was a far better kind of counselling and with everyone so busy lately he didn't bother to call ahead to let them know. He likely receive a unhappy message later from McCarthy or the Doc herself it seemed like she enjoyed giving Luke the beat down. Taking a sip from his drink ad pouring some over his face Luke took up throwing his towel on the bench and moved into an attacking stance next to the bag, taking a breath in he went into his next work routine.

Splendora had waited for 15 minutes in her office. Her client was officially late. She'd asked the computer where he was and the answer, the gym, was not making her happy. She knew people didn't like counselors and she'd read this ones file but he could have called. Sighing she decided she'd try some smack down counselling, something she was known for. She hurried home and changed into her workout clothing and headed to the gym.

She tied her long hair back an sauntered into the gym. It was empty except for her target...um client. She walked over to the bike that was close to where Luke was. Swinging her long legs over she adjusted the bike t her six foot height and started working out slowly. She looked over at Wyatt she wanted him to say hi first. Counseling was all about the mind.

Luke had noticed the woman clamber onto the bike, and by clamber gracefully step over and onto the seat. She was looking at him which raised alarm, trying to remember where he had seen her before. The woman was tall from that he could tell from the way she had positioned the bike's seat, he hair was black and at the subtle glances her eyes were a matching green. Perfect he was a sucker for green eyes how was he supposed to be mad a the punching bag now with her peddling away. Thats when it hit him she was the new counsellor who had come aboard with the other new influx of crewman. Great He thought. Throwing a few more punches and kicks he put his arms out to stop the bag. Once it settled he wiped it down before moving over to the bench where his towel and water was. He wasn't going to give in that easy.

Splendora smiled. So he was going to be hard one was he. She continued her routine for a while longer and got off the bike. She walked over to the bench press and looked at the weights. She adjusted the weights a bit and then stared at the machine as if she didn't know what she was doing. A man could never resist showing a woman how to use something. When he did the counseling would begin.

Watching from the corner of his eyes he had wiped most of the sweat from his face and shoulder's and drank most of his water, she wasn't giving up and now worst she was looking dumb founded at the bench press. "Oook" He said standing up grinning his Blue and white gum shield showing as he did. "Don' Wantcha ta hurt'n yaself" He said the gum shield making it hard to speak but he wasn't quiet done yet.

She looked at him with what looked like innocent curious eyes. "I know what I'm doing." She said in a pouty voice. She lowered the weight holds a fraction so the bar of the weights was closer to the bench. Just slightly. She stood there turned away from him. Come on now... she thought. Come over she show the little woman how to use the bench press. Step into my spider web

Luke rolled his eyes if he didnt stop she'd hurt herself and as amusing it would be he couldnt let it happen on his account. Walking over he sighed "Come on now, you're gonna injure yourself" he said now standing next to her his hand gesturing for her to allow him to help.

"A...alright." She had the damsel in distress voice. "Can you please show me how to position myself on the bench?" Her big green eyes trained on him. He'd lay down and the trap was set.

He sighed position himself "You first got to pick the right weight I don't think you've seen the gym very much so i suggest a light one, secondly make sure the safety catch is on last thing you want is the bar coming down and crushing your chest or worst strangling you to death." he said as his arms went through the motions "And finally you put your arms shoulder width apart and then push" He demonstrated the weight was little so he managed with ease. "However all of this you should always make sure someone can spot for you last thing we need is a death on the ship because someone didnt know their limits.

She'd moved to where his ankles were. Splendora noticed that he'd noted that he couldn't get his arms under the weight bar because it was too low. Before he could get up she kicked the bench under the bar so that the bar was above his chest and sat on his ankles. "Now then Mr. Wyatt. You can't sit up and I weigh 165 pounds so you can't kick me off. Shall we have our counselling session this way or shall we go back to my office?"

Luke let out a long sigh before testing his arms on the weights bar "Yiu certainly know how to captures a guys attention" he struggled to sit or escape the odd improvised restraints "I guess we can do it in your office since you've invaded my personal vent time, and you're lucky" he said before kicking his legs in a up and swinging motion freeing them from under her. "I could have hurt you" he winked lifting the bar of him and sitting up.

She grinned. "I'm known for my creative counselling." She motioned towards the door. "Shall we go."

Luke stood up and smiled as he walked over to his stuff picking up his things and wiping the sweat away from his face. "Lead the way my crazy counsellor friend."

She laughed.

***Counselling Office***

They entered the small office and she pointed to the sofa. "Have a seat. We'll use today as a get to know you session and then start the real work next time. So I know you like working out and skipping counseling." She smiled. "Tell me more about yourself Mr. Wyatt."

He shrugged the question obvious but vague "I don't know where to start, there's a lot to know about me and to go through my entire history..." He stopped sitting back further into the chair he had just sat in "Well we'd be here forever and I don't want to waist either of our times. Id love to know what my file says about me though"

"Wouldn't we all. Now forever is a long time. You strike me as a man who doesn't believe in forever, you seem to see things as transient and unstable. Tell me about her." She'd read the file and she knew that he knew what she was talking about.

Luke hesitated before speaking. For the most part, other than Lirha and maybe Tuula he hadn't spoken to many people about Abbey and was hoping to leave it that way. "Which one... The one that was killed and left behind in a unforgiving universe or the one that has taken her place." Luke wasn't angry at the Abbey who had returned from the MU, at first maybe but after the weeks went by he understood that they were both going through the same pain and eventually made peace with now Abbey ST James. They even both kept in contact frequently.

"Both." Splendora said softly. Her heart went out to the man.

He shook his head "I don't think I am ready right now" his voice was strung with raw emotions, he really didn't know if he could even begin to start talking about them both.

Splendora moved to sit beside him. She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Okay let's start with one."

The hand that rested on his shoulder calmed his nerves slightly, taking s deep breath he began "I just wish I had been there or seen her, it's one to see your daughter die but to not know she died but we have no evidence what if she didn't die."

Splendora, having just lost a loved one, knew what he was going through. "So there was no evidence that she died?"

He shook his head "Well the abbey that returned said she had died but she didn't say how or why" he explained careful thinking into the situation again.

"Hm..." Splendora said. Her mind already working. "Tell me about Abby two."

"They're actually surprisingly similar despite her desperate need to fight and kill everything in her lath, reminds me a lot like myself when I was younger. She seems lost and misguided and I think she holds back on a lot of things like she avoids any eye contact when talking about abbeys death" he explained careful.

Splendora did a double take. Could that mean that his daughter was alive on the other side? "Um...okay. Tell me about her personality."

He rolled his eyes, "She's independently single minded as if the whole world can't help her and that she thinks she owns everything. She reckless and would take the hard way every time but she is loyal as a dog and wouldn't batter an eyelid to jump in front of a bullet for you"

"How is her personality different from the old Abby?" Splendora asked.

Luke didn't answer straight away, infact it must have been a full minute before words left his lips and they surprised him "I... There's no difference" he finally said.

"Hm...and this new Abby you trust her as much as the old one?" Something didn't sit right.

Luke paused to think for the moment. There were so many unknowns about this new daughter of his and then it hit him, he actually didn't really know her st all. "I don't think I could ever allow myself too" he admitted.

"Why? What is it about her that you don't trust?" She asked.

The session continued longer then it was suppose to and that put her about 30 minutes late but she was glad she and Luke got a chance to talk. She still wondered if this girl could be fibbing about the death of Luke's daughter. She made a few notes to update his file and then called in her next appointment.
