Luke strolled up to the captains ready room a PaDDbin hand with the planned flight details and survey request of One of the planets in the local area. He had been approach my Ensign Delani to go and investigate an odd phenomenon on a planet in the sector and had agreed to go with her as the senior officer and security personnel. Tapping the doors panel he waited.

"Yes, enter," said Saalm in response to the soft alert that had sounded to notify of her of a waiting visitor. Currently she was in the middle of discussing colonial construction logistics with Holliday -- a subject she was not especially-well-versed in. A quick break from some of the head-scratching architectural layouts she was now looking at was more than welcome.

Entering the room he smiled and greeted Lirha "Morning admiral, I hope I'm not Interupting anything important with this request" he placed the PaDd on her desk "here's everything about the mission"

"Ah yes, come sit Mister Wyatt." The man's large and well-built frame was a familiar sight, especially nowadays ever since his transfer to the strategic operations department. Leaning over to grab the PADD he had offered her, she slowly began to skim through the contents of the finalized flight plan and mission details.

"I am still wary of sending just the two of you out without an escort or security detail..." she mumbled to herself while she pondered the mission's approval. "Are you two confident that you can avoid trouble?"

Luke nodded, "I have looked over the details myself and I am confident we wont run into any trouble and if we do it wont be beyond our abilities to sort it out ourselves, besides I'm a one man security team" He joked.

She let out a soft internal sigh and nodded with reluctance. Her gut instincts were telling her that this could be a bad idea, but she also felt confident in the lieutenant's abilities. Derani, who she didn't know quite as well, needed a supervisor for the mission, and there was no better person for the task than Wyatt.

Lirha swallowed her apprehensions and gave the lieutenant a curt nod. "Despite my better judgement...permission granted," she conceded. "You are both cleared to depart as soon as you like. And Mister Wyatt, I look forward to your discoveries," she smiled before waving her green hand to dismiss him from the room.

"Dont worry Ma'am I'm sure this mission will go as smoothly as the most text book of missions" He smiled before giving a polite nod towards the pair officers before leaving the room
