Wilhelm Von Haeften looked at the chrono for what must have been the eighth time in as many minutes. When he saw that there was two minutes until he and Rebecca’s “date”, he lighted the candles on the table that as a senior department head he was allowed in his quarters. His quarters were not luxurious by any standards, in fact he had only three rooms, counting the bathroom. Currently he was in his “main room” as the schematics called it, which functioned as his living room as well as dining room. Other than that, he had a bedroom which was only large enough to contain a larger than typical bed as well as some fair closet space and dressers.

He had gotten some flowers from the arboretum and put them in a vase, and he put on some music, some light classical. He did ask the computer for anything more than ‘romantic music’, and he liked the first thing that the computer played. It was a piano heavy piece, and if Wil had to guess, it was by Beethoven.

He fidgeted nervously as he waited. he had checked and rechecked everything. The food was ready for dispersal, kept in a replicated heating tray, and he had prepared dessert even though Becca said she would ‘bring it’. Wil did not want to look like a brute if she meant...something else that was sweet, so he had replicated a baked alaska.

He positioned the silverware again, which were not replicated. His mother made him carry it around to his various duty stations, saying that Wil’s father had used that very silverware the night they had a first date and that they had been in love ever since. Naturally, his mother was convinced they had some kind of good fortune attached to them, and always told him to break them out if he met a nice girl that he thought might be ‘the one’.

Let’s see...knife, forks, spoon, glass, wine… he said to himself, ticking off each and every item in his head. The wine was real as well. He was allotted one bottle aboard Galileo, and had asked one of his high school friends who went into the wine business to send him a bottle of white wine. He had just checked the temperature of the wine when his door chimed.

Standing out in the corridor, Rebecca had hesitated a moment before pressing the chime. She was nervous...an emotion that wasn’t one she knew very well. The woman kept double and triple checking her attire before she even left her quarters, she wasn’t sure what Emmerson would think when he got back to find the clothes bomb that had gone off prior to her hurried departure. Looks never concerned her, it was always a case of throw on the first outfit which came to hand but tonight was more important than ever...she wanted to impress Wil not drive him away.

Smoothing out her knee length dress once again, with her one free hand, the bodice was tight around her chest before flaring out into the shirt; the off white colour of her dress was striking against her honey brown hair and grey eyes. Her hair was styled in such a way that it was pulled back at the sides with a comb, only small strands fell down to gently caress her bare shoulders, the lighting reflecting off of the golden hilights. On her feet she worn flats the same colour as the dress...she wasn't even sure how they had gotten into her wardrobe given she only ever wore heels or trainers but she figured they’d been left over after some function over the years involving an executive officer.

The outfit felt strange, to not be purposely exposing flesh to the eyes of the people around her felt somewhat unnatural but at the same time it felt right. She had promised Wil that she was his now...which included for his eyes only. A shiver ran up the length of Rebecca’s smile at the thought that she was only his.

Wilhelm stood, smoothed out his trousers and jacket, and checked his shoes. He had wanted to wear the same red shirt that he had when they first met, but remembered that Rebecca had it with her from that night. He finally decided on a bright yellow for contrast with the rest of his black attire jazzing it up with the addition of a black jacket to match his trousers. He hoped he looked presentable.

“Come.” he said.

Watching as the door slid open, Rebecca had a momentary moment of panic before her eyes met Wil’s through the doorway. The smile on his face and the nerves which shone through his eyes sent her mind into a spiral. She didn’t want to get this wrong...most of all she didn’t want to let this man down.

“Hi..” She wasn’t sure what else to say as a surprising shyness moved across her features, her fingers tightened around the twine of the box in her hand and the other hand fisted in the material at the side of her dress. “I’m sorry...I hope I’m not late.”

Wil smiled as he noticed her apparent nervousness, happy to know he wasn’t the only one.

“You’re not love, and even if you were, no amount of time is too long to wait for a creature so lovely.” the German gentleman said, admiring her dress and features.

“You…” he said, taking the box from her hands and gently laying it on the table he had prepared for them. He took her hands within his own and gave them both a gentle squeeze.

“...are absolutely beautiful.” he finished. He meant every word of it. Perhaps her flesh was not as exposed as it was when they first met, but her flesh was not the reason Wil had fallen hard for her. Her features shone through, no matter whether she wore nothing at all or looked like a Vulcan nun.

He cupped her chin with his right hand and gently placed a kiss on her lips.
“I’m glad you’re here Suesse*.” Wilhelm said, his hand still gently holding her chin.

Leaning up into the kiss, Rebecca slipped her arms around her’s lover’s waist as she walked them backwards and back into the room. The woman was barely aware of the room around, just allowing herself to just be immersed wholly and completely in Wil. This...this was why she had come here tonight because he felt right...every time they touched, they kissed or even just talked...it all felt so right. “To think...at one point I thought to never have the opportunity to be able to kiss you again.”

“I told you I’d align the stars themselves didn’t I? I’m hurt you didn’t believe me.” Wil said with mock hurt.

Feeling more comfortable than she had just moment before, Rebecca laughed as she moved her hands under Wil’s jacket and just stroked his back through the shirt. Tilting her head slightly to one side, the woman nuzzling her cheek in against her lover’s chest. “If I’d have known of the science connection I would have better believed it to be within your ability.”

Wil just smiled and held onto Rebecca for a bit. He felt like he had been holding her over an hour, but it could not have been even a few minutes.

“Would you like to see dinner, love?” the CSO inquired of his date.

Smiling at his question, Rebecca looked up with a laugh before pressing a soft kiss against the side of Wil’s chin. “The answer I should give to that and want to give to that both differ...I’ll go with the polite answer which is I am starving, I’ve been looking forward to this meal all day and can’t wait to see what you’ve managed to replicate.”

Wil smirked at the lady. “Now I’m kinda curious what the other answer is, but, I promised myself I’d be a gentleman. Please have a seat my lady.”

Von Haeften went to the chair for Rebecca, annotated as such by the rose he had laid before it, and held her chair for her to sit.

The touch of the rose was what struck Rebecca first as she took her place, allowing Wil to push the seat in under her. Reaching out, she traced her fingertips against the blood red petals as she felt the silk like texture against her softened skin. “My immediate reaction is where did you manage to find a real rose but then I’m reminded, you're the Chief Science Officer...which of your poor officers had this poached from their project?” A soft smile played across her lips as a teasing tone echoed in her strained voice, pushing past the lump that had formed in her throat.

“The botanist on board likes to grow various flowers for her tests on native soils and see the reactions. I lied that I needed to borrow a rose for similar experiments.” Wil stated.

Very delicately, Rebecca placed the rose safely to one side before taking Wil’s hand in hers, placing a soft kiss against his knuckles. The rest of his setup had not gone unnoticed from the candle on the table to the cutlery and glassware he had set up.

This man had a way of making her feel so special and instead of feeling overwhelmed, Rebecca felt something else which she couldn’t put a name to. “You didn’t need to go to all of this effort...I had thought a few replicator meals over a table and conversation was all I was to expect. You have gone far beyond Wilhelm.”

Wil looked mildly surprised.

“Why would I not go to this effort Rebecca? You are worth it. It is after all, our first “real” date. I wanted you to feel special, because spending time with you is special to me.” the German said, as he poured some wine into the glass.

“It’s just...I’m just…” Rebecca let out a breath before pushing a strand of hair out of her eyes and taking the glass which Wilhelm offered. “Sorry...I’m not used to this. The whole polite chat and making conversation and…” Really that she was making an extremely bad heams of this, the woman sat back in her chair as she looked up at Wilhelm with stress in her eyes. “Sorry...I’m ruining this aren’t I?”

Wil had sat down and had picked up his own glass, but set it down and quickly stood up and moved to Rebecca’s side before kneeling down, taking her arms in his.

“Not at all Darling. I understand if this needs some time to adjust. I will be here for you, for however long you need. We don’t have to rush anything if you don’t want. You being here is more than enough to please me.” he said, kissing her hand held within his own.

Rebecca moved in her seat until she faced Wil. Her hand moved to cup his cheek as she leaned in to kiss his lips ever so softly. Her fingers softly traced the pattern of his jaw as she just enjoyed this kiss; it was something she was more familiar with and it helped that she enjoyed their kisses so much. “It’ll get easier…I just need more time and I guess that is something we will have plenty of around here.”

“As much as we need love.” Wil agreed.

Chewing on her lower lip, Rebecca felt a conundrum as she wondered if a suggest to move straight to dessert would be out of place, given all of the hard work Wil had gone to in order to prepare the meal and setting. “How about we start dinner and you tell me how your day went after you left me?”

“Well...I slew a dragon, rescued a damsel in distress, put her back because she was hideous compared to you, and then saved the Federation from the Borg. You?” he said...his face deadpan.

Taking a breath, Rebecca laughed before leaning in closer to the man who still knelt at her side. “Genuine answer? I cursed the chief science officer for managing to avoid our meeting, even if technically it wasn’t his complete fault. I then spent the rest of the day trying to file reports in between wondering what would have happened had we not been interrupted. Outside of that...I worried about what to wear tonight, worried about making the right impression….My day was decidedly dull compared to yours.”

Wil laughed. “In reality, I filed some reports, signed a few things, and decided that from now on, I’m going to be giving my reports to the Skipper’s Yeoman personally.” he winked at Rebecca.

“As for what would have happened if we had not been interrupted? I’d have torn that uniform off of you and made love to you right there on my desk.” he said, a twinkle in his eye.

As she listened to Wil’s words, Rebecca couldn’t help but revisit her earlier thought as she wondered if maybe they should do dessert before dinner. She wanted this first date to be perfect but at the same time...all she wanted was for to follow through with his earlier plans. “Fancy doing something very decadent?”

“Like what?” He said, his chin now resting in his hand.

Rebecca had watched Wil as he moved back to his seat opposite her. Chewing on her lower lip, she thought over her plan as she wondered if it would really be such a good idea. She remembered what had happened last time she had stepped forward and taken control...the outcome was something which she would never forget. Even if the same happened again, it was worth the risk. “Do you trust me?”

“Yes.” Wil said simply. He trusted her implicitly.

Hesitating for a moment, Rebecca moved over to where she had left the box she had carried in with her earlier. Opening the lid, she kept it out of his sight before taking a blindfold into her hands. “We are going to play a game….” Moving up behind her lover, she placed the blindfold over his eyes before she tied it at the back of his head. She waited until she was sure that he couldn’t see before speaking again, “...for each taste or touch that you get right, you get a reward of my choosing.”

Wil shivered slightly as...thoughts...entered his head of the possibilities.

“And if I guess wrong? Are you...punishing me?” he said, a nervous laugh escaping his lips.

Rebecca smiled as her hands moved down over Wil’s chest, from behind, and she pressed a kiss to the side of his neck before whispering very softly into his ear, “That hadn’t been part of the plan but plans can always change.

His heart rate increased. “Ok.” was all he could make come out.

Smiling as she stepped away, Rebecca took the open box into one hand moving it to a small table placed in front of Will’s couch. Anyone who could see inside would see that the box was in two compartments, the first holding pieces of various food products but the second held items not recognised unless the viewer picked them up and looked a little closer.

Taking a pillow from the couch, Rebecca placed it on the tabl before moving the table closer to the couch edge. Satisfied that she had the scene set up the way she needed it to be, the woman moved back to where her lover sat as she took one of his hands in hers. “How about we move to somewhere a little more comfortable.”

“Ok love.” he said, getting up and walking awkwardly as his lack of sight made him afraid to bump into something or otherwise look silly in front of the lady he was courting.

As she carefully guided Wil around an obstacle, Rebecca stopped her lover l in front of the couch before placing a hand against his shoulder and urging him to sit back into the couch. “I hope that you are ready for this…”

Sitting on the pillow on the table, Rebecca moved Wil’s legs slightly apart so as her own fit between them. She was within touching distance of his face but aside from where there knees touched, she touched him nowhere else. “First taste...something nice and easy to settle you in. Open wide…”

As Will parted his lips, she gently rubbed a quarter of a strawberry along his lips before placing the fruit on his tongue, “Tell me what you feel? How does it taste…”

Wil chewed it around a bit and swallowed before delivering his verdict.

“I think it’s an Earth strawberry.” he said. “I feel like I should be giving you my name, rank, and serial number or something.”

Smiling at his words, Rebecca leaned forward as she rubbed the tip of one finger across Wil’s lips in order to gather up the juices that had escaped the fruit. Pressing the tip of the same finger against his lower lip, the woman slowly slipped the finger inside his mouth, allowing it to rest in the same place she had placed the strawberry. “Maybe later if I take on a more...dominant role.”

Wil sucked the juice off her finger, appreciating the sweet flavor. He was trying very hard to remain the gentleman.

Pulling her finger from his mouth, Rebecca reached to pick up the next object which was a small feather. Moving her fingers, she unbuttoned the collar of Wil’s shirt , pulling it to one side so as the side of his neck was exposed. “So you have the hang of taste, lets now try touch…” Slowly she lightly tickled the feather across his exposed skin.

Wil jerked and giggled at the sensation as he tried hard to focus on what the object felt like. In the end, he had to take a guess, as he wasn’t entirely sure through his giggles.

“A feather! A feather, you vile creature!” he said, still giggling.

Rebecca couldn’t help but smile at the reaction as she let the feather linger one more minute before pulling it back. “Sorry about that...good to know though how ticklish you actually are…”

Leaning forward, Rebecca flicked her tongue across Wil’s earlobe before slowly sucking it into the depths of her mouth. Taking her time, she very slowly and very softly licked and sucked the flesh before pulling back. “How are you feeling?”

“Like I want to...make you the prisoner next time.” Wil said, his breathing heavy.

Smiling at this response, Rebecca leaned in as she took another piece of food from the box. This time is was rounded piece chocolate. As she bit the ball in half and kept it in her fist before again placing the other piece in on Wil’s tongue. “What have you got this time?”

“That’s chocolate or I’m the King of Earth.” Wil said, enjoying the taste of the chocolate.

Smiling at Will’s obvious enjoyment of the simple game, Rebecca took the hand in which she had melted the chocolate and using her fingers she smeared it across each of his lips. Their clothes would be destroyed before this was over but she was sure that he wouldn’t mind...it would be worth it.

Leaning in closer, Rebecca begun to lick and suck the chocolate from Wil’s lips, taking her time as she slowly enjoyed pleasuring his lips but pulling back anytime he tried to return the kiss. “No sweetheart….I’m in charge.” She said the last words with a slight steel in her voice to show that she meant what she said.

Wil growled playfully at his girlfriend. “You will address me as ‘sir’, Petty Officer Williams.” he said with a sly smile.

Pulling back once again, Rebecca removed a tiny container from the box., an airtight container which provided a freezing atmosphere of sorts. “If that’s the way we are going to be...you need to follow my every command Sir or suffer the consequences.”

“Roger that Petty Officer.” he said, that sly smile never leaving his lips.

Liting the lid on the container, Rebecca removed just one ice cube before resealing the lid. Placing the cube between her fingers, again she leaned forward to rub it against her lover's lips, this time not allowing it into his mouth, just allowing it to touch his lips and the water run over his chin and down his neck. “Next up...Sir...is….?)

“Ice.” he said between breaths. Wil was honestly anxious about where exactly she was going to put that.

Pulling back the near melted cube, Rebecca discarded it to one side of the table before leaning forward to take one of Will’s hands. “I’ll never forget that night he had together….Certain movements and actions you took were such clear indicators of what you liked more than others…Let me show you how much I remember...."
