Morning After…

Rebecca Williams wrapped her arms around her body as she perched on the edge of a seat in Wilhelm Von Haeften’s room. The red shirt she'd picked up from the floor was the one Wil had worn last night, and was almost baggy on her but it served to somewhat cloth her naked body. Wilhelm’s scent emitted from the dept of the material, a scent which in such a short period of time the woman had come to know so well.

She had debated on waking him, leading them into round four or five (at least she thought it was those numbers...it was difficult to keep track when your mind and body were so focused on giving and receiving the intense pleasure they found together) but he looked so peaceful in the throng of deep sleep that it had seemed a sin to do so.

Even now as she watched, he mummered something low before tossing his head against the pillow; sighing softly before settling again. She'd never been able to have a moment like this before, to just sit and watch her lover at ease and at rest while remembering all that had passed between them in just mere hours. She'd never had the opportunity to be able to just watch a man while he slept.

The bed sheets were mostly scattered across the floor, pillows in their wake. One single sheet rested across Wilhelm’s hips, offering a little decency from prying eyes. One arm was folded under his head while the other draped across the spot where previously she had lay. He seemed at complete peace in the depths of sleep.

Last night was still etched into Rebecca’s memory, causing conflicting emotions as she remembered every touch and every caress. It wasn't just her mind which remembered but also her body. He'd left no physical marks but paths traced by fingers or tongue or lips were burned into her skin as even now her skin goose bumped and her breath quickened as she remembered. And then the words...German and English seemed intertwined each time Wilhelm whispered in her ear or cried out in the throes of passion. His words caused the blood in her veins to run boiling hot, every bit as much as each stroke of his fingers across her skin had done the same.

Even now the memories caused the heat in her body to raise.

Rubbing her hands across her face, Rebecca forced her mind away before she lost control once again. She didn't have the time for one more tumble amongst the sheets, she really had to get going.

One thing though still played on Rebecca’s mind, probably even the reason she'd awoken...Why hadn't she run yet? Why hadn't she run before? She'd had ample opportunity but she'd chosen instead to stay and repeat their intimacy over and over again...she'd chosen to sit here now and keep a vigil by her lover's bedside, to bask in the memories of their night together.

Leaning back into her chair, Rebecca pinched the bridge of her nose as the questions kept tumbling through her mind. Why hadn't she turned him away when the opportunity had presented itself? Why had she given him this one night? Why had she allowed herself to fill him with the hope that the woman knew she was soon to send crashing back down.

Rebecca had known from the beginning that Wilhelm was one of the good guys, the type of men she usually avoided in order to pick up the non-complicated instead...her lover was a guy who any girl would be lucky to have so why the hell had he gone and chosen her? It complicated things so much when this should have quite simply just been a case of wham bam thank you ma’am. Hope that you have a good day. .

Rebecca rubbed her hands across her face as if she might be able to just make it all go away. She needed to go before it was too late. Before Wilhelm awake and she was faced with questions she was scared to have to answer.

Making her final decision, Rebecca moved back to her feet, wincing a little as her muscles protest, pulling Wilhelm’s shirt tighter around her body, as she gathered her clothes in preparation to leave the room.

Wilhelm stirred under the covers, and reached out with his hand, only to find emptiness there. He groggily awoke and sat up when he saw Rebecca, standing in the room with his shirt over her. He winced a little as his abs protested; they had worked very hard last night, and were now pleasantly sore.

“It’s a good look Suesse*.” he said to her, his eyes gleaming despite his teasing and his own tiredness. “What time is it?” he asked absentmindedly before looking at the chrono in the room.

The chrono claimed it was 0451, which Wilhelm thought was a silly time to be awake. Still, he got up and moved to Rebecca with small steps; his legs also hurt, for the same reasons as his abs.

“Hey you.” He said quietly before embracing her, her scent filling his nostrils. It was a combination of her perfume, that smell of blooming lilacs, and the smell of sweat and passion and ecstasy, and Wilhelm loved that scent on her.

Rebecca felt her body tense at the initial embrace before her body allowed itself to relax, in turn leaned in against Wilhelm. Her thoughts of just moments ago disappeared back out the window as the woman allowed herself to just enjoy this moment.

Closing her eyes, Rebecca just took a few moment before pressing a soft kiss against his bare shoulder. “I'm sorry...you looked so peaceful just lying there and I have a conference call at oh six hundred hours that I'm expected to attend. I figured after last night you might appreciate the lie in.”

“Not without you I won’t.” Wil retorted sweetly, kissing her lightly on the neck. “I don’t have to be anywhere until 0830, so would you care for breakfast, a few more minutes of snuggling...a shower?”

He did not say the last one with any particular mischief in his voice, more that he would simply enjoy the intimacy of it more than anything. Her warm, partly clothed body against his almost made his body stir once again. For the fifth time no less. Wil did not know what this woman had over his body, but it absolutely refused to be tired when it came to intimacy, although he assumed he’d be limping by the end of the day. The German man willed his body to relax, as he did not want Rebecca to think his mind was on only one thing.

Rebecca eyes flickered back to the chrono as she tried to do the math in her head. The sensible side said to take her chance now and run as fast as she could but her other side...the side that reacted to the proximity of Wilhelm's naked body to her own, it cried out for just a little bit more.

As a smile lit her lips, Rebecca turned her head to look her lover in the eyes. “You're a very difficult man to satisfy sexually my dear...you just can't seem to get enough.”

Wil’s face took a look of mock hurt.

“Me? Oh no my dear...I just can’t get enough of you. And I never said I wanted to make love in the shower. Besides, I could use some help disinfecting these scratches from the puma that attacked me.” he said, teasing her about the claw marks that ran down the majority of his back and the bruises from Rebecca’s teeth that were on his neck and shoulders. Part of him wanted to repay her in kind, but Wil was always the gentleman.

Rebecca looked at Wilhelm in mock horror, before turning to face him full on, taking his hand in hers. “I've only got thirty minutes, I need time to get back to the ship and get my uniform. I'm sure I could manage some basic nursing of your wounds in that time. If we shower, I can make it forty minutes.”

“I hope you’ll forgive me if I say that every minute I spend with you is another minute I spend in heaven, for thou surely have the look of an angel.” Wil said poetically, but only half-jokingly. Von Haeften really did think she was the most lovely creature he had ever laid eyes upon, and she had hidden depths that he was anxious to explore, even if she did not want to admit that they were there.

Laughing at his words, Rebecca remembered from the night before how he seemed to seek inspiration in the poetic. His words and mannerisms at times seem to revert to a romanticism of sorts; it was just a quirk she'd picked up on very early.

A sudden sadness descended on her eyes as Rebecca realised this would be the last time that they would be together. Her prophecy from the night before was proving true, even if there had been a want with them both to have more beyond this one night; it was never going to happen once they separated. Hundreds of ships were here for the symposium and he was obviously part of one of them.

Leaning up she gently brushed her lips across his as she just took that moment in a snapshot to keep with her. “Well then...if you've been so badly injured I guess you're going to need a lot of loving and tender caring.”

“Probably.” he smirked at her. “Shall we?” Wil asked, pulling away from Rebecca and taking her by the hand.

As Wilhelm lead her from the room, his wasn't how Rebecca had envisioned this part, she thought she'd set it up that she would take the lead but...she realised once again that this was just how Wil was. Wasn't it part of why she enjoyed being with him last night...he wasn't afraid to take the reins and run with it. He knew when to hold back but he also knew when he wanted something, he would do everything to get it, he didn't leave it all up to her..wasn't that how he'd gotten her in the end?

The shower of Wil’s suite was a traditional one, although it was also equipped with the sonic variety for those who preferred such things or were in a hurry. Wil preferred the standard variety. It might not have been as ‘efficient’ as a sonic one, but it just felt...better...more relaxing.

Wil turned it on, and realized that he had turned it on too hot, and the water was uncomfortably warm. He turned it down slightly, and once it had cooled enough to enter, he did so, holding the curtain open for Williams to enter.

Instead of stepping in, Rebecca placed her hand against Wil’s shoulder and pushed until he turned so she could see his back. He hadn't been joking...in places the skin had broken under her assault and even where skin wasn't broken, painful looking welts had developed. Carefully she traced her fingers against the flesh, trying not to hurt him as she followed the marks before leaning forward and gently pressing kisses across the surface.

Wilhelm hissed as the touches, light as they were, stung slightly. If he was alone, he would have sworn profanely, but Rebecca’s presence made him mindful of his language, as his parents taught him that it wasn’t polite to swear in front of a lady. Granted, some of the things that escaped his mouth last night were sometimes quite vulgar, but Wilhelm was sure that he could be given a pass for what he said in the heat of passion.

Hearing the hisses, Rebecca hesitated in concern before moving him to turn once more. She didn't know why but it upset her to think he was in pain that had been inflicted by her. “Maybe I should see if I can get my hands on a dermal regenerator, I have the very basic of training...I never meant to hurt you.”

Wilhelm turned to face Rebecca, the water having now made his hair wet and clinging to the top of his head.

“It’s alright Suesse*.” he said. “You didn’t hurt me. If you had, I would’ve yelled out something far more profane than simply calling out your name into the room for all to hear.” he teased.

Watching as the water traced a path over Wilhelm’s skin, Rebecca still didn't understand why she stood here. It just didn't make any sense, nor did it make sense that it mattered to her if her lover was in pain from wounds inflicted during a night of passion.

Moving her hand to stroke the skin of his chest, Rebecca softly traced patterns against the skin, her eyes never leaving his. “Let me show you that I can manage to show you pleasure just as well…”

Wil’s eyes, still mildly sleepy, opened at that last sentence. “What do you mean Rebecca?”
