Lady Olenna's Quarters, Imperial Romulan Warbird Hiren

The Journey was not particularily long. But nevertheless Olenna had grown tired of travelling. She had made herself far too excited for her new posting, that even her family's new Flagship seemed dull.

She sat in her vast cabin, draped in a fine silk dressing gown, a PADD in hand. she wanted tpo know everything there was to know about Galileo and her crew.

Part of her felt she was intruding on her soon-to-be shipmates. But her curious nature won out and ssoon she had detailed biographies of the entire crew from the time of their respective births.

The old Romulan smiled at a charming childhood story of a creman, when her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the intercom.

"Lady Olenna, we have arrived at the Rendez Vous coordinates. Your presence is requested on the Bridge." Came the officious voice of Commander Valko.

Olenna, with the help of her handmaiden Miyna, dressed in a sleek stone grey pant suit adorned with her diplomatic decorations. Her long hair was pulled back into an intricate bun.

There was an awkward silence that filled the bridge. A silence that was only broken by the arrival of Lady Olenna and her girl.

"So we've arrived, have we?" Olenna asked,staring at the ship's viewscreen which was currently displaying astrometric data.

Valko gave a stiff nod of his head. "Yes ma'am we are at the prescribed coordinates, and we have deactivated our cloak."

"Put it up on screen then." Olenna said stepping further into the control room, "I should like to see her." She nodded to the vast screen before her.

"But my Lady..." Valko began.

"No arguments, Commander." Olenna said with a warning look.

"Yes ma'am." Valko said, turning and gesturing for the screen to be activated

The screen blinked a moment and then displayed the area of space around Hiren. There was nothing in sight.

"Are we early?"Olenna asked, confused by the Federation's absence.

"No my Lady, we are right on schedule." Valko said plainly.

Olenna paced around the Bridge.

Miyna spoke up, "Could we have missed any communications indicating their lateness?"

Valko shook his head, "We've checked.Twice."

Straightening up and moving back to the lift, Olenna said "Hold position and contact Starfleet. "

The Commander's eyes went wide, but he dared not argue with the Ambassador.

"As you were." Olenna called, as the lift doors closed on her and Miyna.
