"I would have to agree ma'am," the Vulcan replied, "can we distribute gravity gear towards our medical personnel? No gravity makes functioning extremely difficult. Do we have EV suits available?" Not that he minded Zero-G, he found it oddly pleasant.

"We will have to get grav gear and make sure the beds are all tied down. There should be stores in the Cargo Bay. As far a EV there are a few there but let us hope there is no breeches there...." Allyndra trailed off remembering the attack that had occurred with the Borg and depressurizing the bay. It had been a nightmare that still haunted her periodically. "Sorry, I was remembering the last time there was a depressurization in the bay." She cocked her head at Naois, "Well while we have the chance come fly with me, we will float down to Bay Two." She turned and headed out the door and down the hallway making little flicks of her wings.

"You do have an advantage here," Naois mused as he pushed after her, carrying whatever he could carry. "Wings would be useful now."

And Now, the Continuation...

Deck 4, Main Shuttlebay

Lamar had been in Galileo's main shuttlebay when the call to brace came through over the comm. Normally it would have been an easy request to abide by, but by being in the middle the large support craft hangar several meters from any solid object, he hadn't had the time to move quickly enough to grip a fixed structure. The result was a violent turbulence which sent him flying into the air, and was then followed by a spacial distortion when the starship entered and exited the rift.

Now, as far as he could tell, he found himself floating weightless in the hangar bay with only minimal red emergency lighting illuminating the flight deck and surrounding walls. Shaken but not stirred, the senior warrant officer blinked a few time to adjust to the darkness, and started to look around to see if everyone was alright.

"Lieutenant? Wintrow? You guys okay?!" he called out loudly.

"I'm fine!" Wintrow called out, though he had obviously hit his head through all the tumble and stumble. "Just a little dizzy chief. Are you alright?"

"Yeah! I think...?" Lamar looked around again to take him his surroundings, and noticed that -- thankfully -- the Type-9 shuttle on the landing pad was secured to the deck and still in its proper position, not floating out of control like he was. And best of all, the shuttle had its own independent power systems, which could potentially help them all get a clear picture of what was going on in the rest of the ship.

"Can you get to the shuttle and toss me some EVA boots?" he asked. Right now he was suspended mid air with nothing near him to grab on to, and he was at the mercy of zero-G until he received assistance.

"I can try chief," Wintrow called back, "if necessary, I'll toss you a rope and haul you in." He pushed himself away from the nearest object he could use for leverage, and floated towards the shuttle, crashing into it because he had nothing to reduce speed with. "Give me a moment chief..."

Tinaro was still braced at the console and the bulkhead as the gravity was deactivated. A moving crate of supplies; however, had come loose and smashed into his already injured shoulder and left chest. As it floated away after the impact, Ti gritted his teeth to keep from passing out from the pain of it. After getting ahold of himself, he ran a hand over the injured area. It felt like something was broken, he thought. He coughed and saw a few specks of red floating in front of him. Yep something is definitely broken. He tapped his Commbadge. Nothing happened. Well no use crying over it, Ti thought, since I can't reach Sickbay.

The young pilot scrambled inside the shuttle, yanking open lockers and cabinets. "I found something, but I doubt they'll fit chief!" he cried out, holding out a pair of way too big boots. "Want me to rope you in instead? There's plenty of cables..."

"Cadet Wintrow, While you are in there unlock the weapons cabinate and toss me a sidearm. Comms are down so until we know exactly whats going on, everyone needs to arm themselves." Ti said, straining to keep the pain out of his voice.

"Yes sir." Wintrow answered, turning back inside. He found the cabinet and extracted three phasers, then made his way back out, using a piece of line he'd found as a kind of lifeline. He first went to Lamar to get him a second rope he'd secured inside the shuttle, then pushed away towards Tinaro.

The young hybrid Betazoid frowned as he approached Tinaro, sensing his pain. "We should get you inside the shuttle sir, I don't think medical will be able to get here soon. Will you allow me to assist you sir?"

Ti shut his pain off from the empath. No need in distracting both of them with it. "I'll be alright." Ti replied in what he hoped was an optimistic tone. He heard the slight gargling sound in his speech and new a lung must have been punctured with a rib or something. We have to keep the shuttles avaliable for evacuations if needed. Set your phaser to stun and stand by. Inform Mr. Lamar to do the same. Ti thought to Wintrow. He wasn't sure if he was ever telepathically spoken to before but Ti thought it would be less traumatic for the part Betazoid cadet than Tinaro speaking aloud and coughing up blood.

"Yeah! Rope, now!" called out Lamar, all too eager to get himself tethered to something and hopefully down into the shuttle that had its own power supply. At least everyone in the shuttle bay looked to be alive, which was always a good sign.

"I did secure you just now chief," Wintrow called back, gesturing towards the line which he had in fact attached to Lamar's waist. "You can haul yourself in...the lieutenant needs help." His eyes went wide as he was suddenly telepathically spoken to; this was something he hadn't experienced before and he found it a little unsettling. He nodded in acknowledgement as he adjusted his phaser. "Yes sir," he whispered, then turned his head a second time. "Lieutenant says to keep the phaser on stun chief!"

"Oh..." Well, Lamar felt pretty dumb. It was hard to see in the dark, but sure enough, the child cadet had attached a line to his belt and he now began to slowly pull himself back towards the ground. Gently, he had to remind himself, lest he pull too hard and send himself tumbling into the flight deck.

Deck 6 - Intelligence Office

Unprepared for the vigorous shaking of the ship, T'Vanna had been thrown from her seat and had been smashed against the cabinet behind her desk, hitting her head hard. Unconscious now, she was unaware of anything going on subsequently.

Tyrion, having fared better, braced himself against the loss of gravity. "Lieutenant!" he called, seeing his boss go down. "Chief Akar, the boss is down!" he cried out, waving the assistant chief over. "We need a medic in here!"

A rather lengthy, but spoken in record time string of curses related to quite a few gods started with the first shake and ended by the time the ship finally had returned to be at ease however now they where all floating in the air which tended to be a rather bad thing as ship based anti gravity systems where amongst the most reliable, backed up and damage resistant systems seeing zero G was not very good for productivity in any environment. The cry from the chief came in loud and clear however and she pushed herself off the wall and floated over to the Lieutenant and Chief. It was clear that she was knocked out cold, but right now there was little for a medic to do and they no doubt had their hands full with worse things. "Chief we need to bring her down to the floor and bind her in place for now, the last thing we need is for her to hit her head again when the gravity is restored. After that I will grab a med kit and we can see what her status is." she spoke calmly, this was certainly not her first crisis and even more so not to be her last.

Tyrion nodded, feeling awkward with his own bandaged left wrist. "Yes ma'am," he replied as he looked around. "What do you propose we tie her to ma'am?"

"Desk." Sigrun stated plainly as they where one of the few items not floating around due their nature of being bolted down. With it said she also started to move gently pushing the lieutenant down, "Alright get the med kit, we can use some of the bandages to hold her in place, don't need much." she said while holding the lieutenant in place with 1 arm while taking of her jacket to fold it into a pillow for below the lieutenant head.

"Yes bandages will work," Tyrion agreed, grabbing a medkit and yanking it open. "Not much here anyway ma'am," he added, holding out a roll of bandage and what could pass for scissors. "Old fashioned and crude, but useful," he finished.

Sigrun took the bandages, but left the scissors and instead pulled out a small knife and swiftly cut some straps and started to bind the lieutenant down finishing with a band over her head. "Alright now lets see what we are dealing with." she said taking the medical tricorder, she was no medical expert, but she knew first aid and concussions she had seen ample of.

The tricorder was reading no serious injuries save a concussion as the woman had bashed her head when gravity went off-line. Tyrion stood by their sides, watching anxiously. "Is she alright ma'am?"

"Knock on the head seems to be all, she should wake up in a bit." Sigrun said putting the medical ticorder back in the floating box. "Perhaps time for us to see what the hell just happened." she than added looking for a normal tricorder.
