Mission: Episode 06 - Legend of Souls
Location: USS Galileo Deck 5, Holodeck 1 - Bajor.
Timeline: MD -4 1600 hrs

[ON]

Luke stood in the centre of the most southern Plaza in the Bajoran city. Checking his watch which told him he was a good ten minutes early, he moved and sat down on one of the benches which was shaded by a tree. The surrounding area was that of a typical Bajoran city with a lot of greenery and sandy colour buildings accompanied by large open areas paved with bricks, it was extremely quiet as he had not started running the program except the sound of the wind blowing in the tree's until the doors of the holodeck opened.

Amon stopped dead in his tracks as he entered, his face paling visibly. His body tensed and he let out a breath before sucking it in sharply again. He forced himself to walk forward again, looking around at it all. Whatever he had felt for the brief second was pushed back and his eyes refocused on it all. He gave a small smile, looking over at Luke. "I have not set foot on Bajor in years...holographic or not."

Raising up from his seat Luke walked to close the gap between the two men before putting out his hand, Mormont was the only other person besides Rhodes who out ranked him. "I didn't know, we can change the program? But it's the most recent hostile engagement I could think of. If it helps, I don't like to be on Bajor either. The last time I was here I had lost two thirds of my platoon to a jem'hadr strike force before falling back." The memory sent a shiver up his spine.

Mormont looked at Luke before smiling weakly. "We have to face our demons some day, right?" he said lightly, taking a deeper breath.

Taryn was running a bit later then had hoped. Which was a bit ironic since she had just split from Luke not too long ago. Stepping into the holodeck she looked around her for a moment. She loved the holodeck, granted she wasn't too keen on training simulations in them. She didn't speak to anyone as she moved toward Luke and Mormont.

Christoph entered a side door into the building. She saw the two officers talking toward the center of the room and crouched slightly taking up a defensive position to the wall next to the door way. With her type III pulse rifle close at the ready she looked out the door scanning left, then right, and left again.

Luke gave a nod in Christoph's direction "It would appear you've already come prepared though I hope you wont need to be using it very much today since the main objective here is to calm down the situation and not escalate it more."

Bree glanced their direction then away again, then back and replied, "Ya, well, I'd rather be prepared than not. If ya know what I mean."

It was with a heavy sigh that Gabriel Stark moved in. Most holodeck training just went wrong. At least it was just security though...cross training usually went even worse. He found holodeck training way more stressful than real life scenarios. He couldn't hide his displeasure either, but it was almost a pained looked at what might be ahead rather than any kind of anger. If he could have groaned, he would have. And had, on the way. Like he was 12 again, being forced to watch parliamentary debate. He'd already promised himself a trip to the bar for a real drink in reward afterwards.

For Gabriel, it wasn't the actual active scenario that bothered him...it was the arguments that holodeck training always seemed to cause. He actually gave a soft groan at the thought, unable to hold it back. "I vote we do this really well first time to save lots of repeats...."

"Works well in theory," Mormont said as he looked at Gabriel, with a small smile. "It'll be alright, Stark. We're all talented people...I hide behind you, right?"

"Yeah, apart from the fact your muscle makes you about twice the size of me. You better stand sideways..." Gabriel chuckled, shaking his head as he lightly slapped one of Mormont's solid arms.

Christoph relaxed a little and walked over to where the others were talking. With her weapons still in her hands pointed down, "So, what do you think they have in-store for us this time?"

Gabriel looked to Christoph with a smile, chuckling warmly. "Think a beach and hot people in swimming costumes is too much to ask. I'm sure we can do some crowd control in that scenario too...."

Bree scrunched up her face in disregard the Gabriel's view, "Stark, sometimes . . . you are a pig." She turned slightly, so she didn't have to look at him. She knew he was a good at his job, but his attitude stunk sometimes.

Gabriel just gave a small smile, shrugging with his hands held to either side. "What? I'm just saying that the last holotrip we did on the beach was way nicer than this. And it had people in swimming costumes."

Luke came into the frame with Rhodes stood next to him, "Ok guys calm it down we all know Stark likes to roll in the mud, but there's no need to criticise what he does in his spare time. You all know why we're here today, so I'll cut to the chase." Turning around the area began to fill with people, in the distance you could see the making of small groups blotted around the central area all being controlled by overlay aggressive Klingons looking for a fight. "You're all trained starfleet personnel, so I expect there to be no drama's, after all how hard can crowd control really be?"

Looking around the security personnel he nodded, "Right since for a change no body has any sarcastic comments I'll split us into two teams of three; Mormont, Christoph and Stark team one, and me, Rhodes and Taryn will take the large group at the west courtyard. The scenario will begin when you get within ten meters of the crowd."

Lt. Rhodes looked about the group, meeting their eyes and trying to get a sense of where they were mentally. After just a second, "Okay people, this way." and walked off to the west.

Mormont let out a breath and followed his own team, taking a deeper breath. He would like to see where this ended. Or began.
