Amon smiled as he looked at him, his eyes warm. "So, Gabriel...do you believe me now?"

"Yes," Gabriel whispered with a warm smile, nodding gently as he squeezed his arm. "I'd do the same."

And now, the conclusion...

[ON]

"Good," Amon winked before easing back, studying the younger man with awe. "How did you end up here anyway?"

"Galileo?" Gabriel asked as he settled back with him, watching him with an easy, relaxed air. He didn't trust all too many people. Not really. Not deep down. But he trusted Amon. "Or Starfleet?"

"Both," Amon said as he reached to stroke over his hair, soothingly. He saw he was relaxed...it wasn't often he saw it.

Gabriel leant into it all too easy, letting out a soft breath. "My father is Laurence Stark, the politician," he said quietly, never usually one to talk about his past and family. "I wanted to go to university. He wanted me in the military or public service. Starfleet was the compromise."

Amon watched him with surprise, shifting. "You're Michael Stark's younger brother..." he said, with awe. "I...I'm Baron Mormont's brother...my parents are Robin and Tyra Mormont."

Gabriel sat back, watching him with equal surprise. "I....that Mormont family? I should have put it together. You know my brother?"

"Yes...I do," he said before looking down, awkwardly. "He's a bit of a twat..."

"Yeah, he is," Gabriel laughed at that, settling back against him. "A clever twat, but a twat all the same."

He smiled warmly as he stroked over his hair, shaking his head. "Small world. Of course, that was years ago."

"Yeah," Gabriel was silent for a long moment. "I'm not really all too welcome at home anymore, like you."

Amon frowned, leaning to kiss his hair at the words. "You are so strong," he said firmly.

"You have to be to get through things," Gabriel whispered, shaking his head as he held his eyes.

He nodded as he leant to rest his cheek against his hair. "Strong soul too, I know it. I see it."

"You believe in souls?" Gabriel asked softly, watching him with interest as he rested his head on his arm.

He nodded as he watched him, with a small smile. "I do. Does that make me a strange and unusual man?"

"No, I do too," Gabriel admitted with a small smile, his dark eyes shining. "Religion among humans seems - unusual out here," he admitted. Although, of course, belief in the soul didn't necessarily mean a religious person.

Amon chuckled as he watched him, his eyes warm. "My family go back a bit. Going to church was a tradition for special events."

Gabriel nodded, taking a breath as he glanced around. "It suits you."

He chuckled at the words, reaching out to caress his cheek. "What about you though? You're Catholic."

Gabriel chuckled, holding his eyes as he leant easily into the hand. "Is it that obvious?"

"Your family is," he chuckled as he stroked gently as he held his eyes. "So I am guessing."

Gabriel nodded softly, fishing the gold cross out from under his collar, the small diamond in the centre glinting with the light. "It goes everywhere with me."

He smiled as he touched it, with awe as he watched Gabriel. "It is beautiful, you know."

Gabriel smiled gently, letting him feel and look. "I can't go anywhere without it. I freak out. Weird, huh?"

"Not at all," he said as he shook his head, warmth in his eyes. "You know, we all have something we hold onto."

"What do you hold on to?" Gabriel asked softly, leaning in closer to him, his fingers caressing down his jaw.

Amon watched him as he leant into the touch, thinking for a moment. "Life," he admitted softy.

Gabriel held his eyes for a long moment. That suited him too. But he knew it didn't suit himself. He never cared if he might die on a mission, or at least, the prospect didn't bother him. It was a streak in him he never talked about. "I admire you."

He laughed at that, shaking his head. "Don't do that. I have done a lot of bad things to good men..."

"Oh now that's just going to turn me on," Gabriel grinned, stroking his thigh with a soft laugh.

Amon smiled, leaning close before kissing him tenderly on the lips. "Is it?" he asked, searching Gabriel's eyes.

Heat sparked through Gabriel at the contact. He shifted closer, his hand sliding up and into his hair, his breath a little unsteady with it. "I think you know it is."

"Jesus, Gabriel...you are a beautiful young man. So passionate..." he said and smiled, kissing him deeply, unable to stop.

Gabriel smiled against his lips, almost with relief as he kissed him back with need, his hand gripping him tight so he wouldn't pull back.

Amon moaned as he pulled him closer, kissing him with need as he breathed harder with it. "Gabriel..."

Gabriel kissed him back, shivering with the taste and feel of him. He'd waited a long time for it, thought about it, and it was even better than he'd anticipated. He was breathing hard against his lips, the heat prickling his skin as his hand slid to Amon's knee, fingers caressing. "Take me back to your place."

Amon nodded, breathing hard as he stood. He pulled him with him, leading him with him as he smiled. "I want you there...I want you."

Gabriel remained a step behind him even as he kept a hold of his hand, so he could watch the man's backside as he walked, unable to help himself.

Amon smiled as he tugged him into his quarters, pulling him close to kiss. "Such a beautiful man..."

"It's taken you long enough to make a move, even with all the flirting," Gabriel breathed, kissing him hard and with clear need as he pressed his body tight to his, feeling the strong contours of it with his own. The sensations made him gasp into his mouth, the heat swelling as his tongue slid slowly between his lips.

He moaned as he felt over his body with equal need, his eyes dark with lust. "I wanted us to get close first..."

"I never usually," Gabriel admitted, trying to catch his breath, but it was made harder by just how firm the lines of his body felt under his hands as he ran them over him. He tugged at his clothes, wanting them off as his lips attacked his neck, sucking and dragging against the musky skin.

Amon smiled warmly as he offered his neck, undressing Gabriel with need, his hands lingering to feel his body. "I know..." he said softly, with a smile. "I have seen you."

"You are watching me?" Gabriel breathed, grinning at the prospect as he pulled sharply at Amon's top to get it off of him. A soft moan rolled in the back of his throat at the sight of his chest and shoulders. Broad and strong, skin heated with desire. He couldn't stop his smile as he touched it before ducking his head down to snake his tongue against the glistening skin to taste.

Amon moaned as he watched him, his eyes dark as he reached to grab the back of his head to keep him there. "I always do when you are out..." he confessed quietly.

"Same," Gabriel moaned at being gripped, breathing harder with anticipation with it as he grabbed his hips. "Would rather stay in with you though."

Amon moaned as he got him undressed, his eyes shining with want as he caressed over his body. "Would you now?" he asked, his eyes warm.

Gabriel pushed into the hands with desire, his skin burning to the touch as he bit his jaw with a moan. "Don't play coy, you know it..."

Amon grinned as he picked him up, getting him onto his bunk as he pressed him down, moving his body firmly over him to pin him there. "I can be coy if I want to..."

"No, you can't," Gabriel breathed, kissing him with need, moaning desperately into his mouth as he grabbed hold of his back, fingers digging in. "You really, really can't..."
