General Jack Holliday performing dictation.

My combat teams have successfully intercepted and boarded the vessel from the alternate universe. A small science vessel - seemingly based on the same design as my own flagship but on a much smaller and weaker scale. Imagine my surprise when I learned that the great Galileo was no more than a philosopher in their universe, and not the mighty war hero that is reflected on Earth history.

The science vessel is manned by many alternates from amongst my crew - their commanding officer is in fact myself. The man appears weak, too concerned for the lives of his crew and too afraid to die in battle as any Terran should know how to do.

I have ordered the crew isolated and interrogated. Their vessel appears equipped with some technology that was not in the database we successfuly acquired from their universe several years ago. It will be interesting to see what developments have been made. From initial sensor log analysis it seems they were some way to being able to penetrate the cloaks of my vessels - something that concerns and interests me.

Our mission here is of critical importance to the Empire - the last thing I need are some alternate versions of my crew running around and revealing our position to the enemy. For now they will be kept alive, until any and all suitable information has been extracted from them. Then the decision is theirs - serve the empire, or fall at it's feet.

End combat log.
