ON:

Well, this ship is a mess. I can't even begin to describe how sorry she looks for herself at the moment. Bulkheads everywhere, charred carpet on the floors and exploded consoles all over the show. But more concerning to me is the crew. We almost got our behind handed to us with the Klingons and now this rift has torn us a new one. I can't imagine how morale is now so I'm about to go and do the rounds with the departments.

It shouldn't be long before we're back on our feet with essential repairs and then once our communication array is back up and running we can contact Command and limp to the nearest starbase for some downtime and a thorough dismantling of this array.

I just can't for the life of me see how the array has caused this rift, but luckily it's no longer up to me to do the ground work for it. I'll liaise with Lieutenant Commander Kohl so that we have at least some report to file with Starfleet.

Stace out.
