Personal log. Father Ethan Walker, Ship's Chaplain, USS Galileo.

The Galileo. It certainly is a change of pace. Sometimes I feel like maybe it wasn't the best change of pace, but then the next moment I feel as if I would have it no other way.

Life aboard the Ardeshir had been the best I'd ever had as a Chaplain in Starfleet - I'd gotten the chance to get involved in Sick Bay, with Counseling and of course get the chance to offer my faith to those who shared it. But a Luna-class is like the Titanic to the Nova. Here, everything is cramped quarters and tight spaces. You have no ability to ignore people - you're quite literally on top of them. Like I said... one minute I love it... the next, I wish I had stayed with Ardeshir.

I get the impression that this ship and this crew have a greater cohesion than I've really ever had the chance to see in the Fleet - even with the trials and tribulations I've been through as part of other crews. This crew seems to be extremely close knit, which could make life for a newcomer like me more difficult as I've not been a part of everything - they may look at me as an outsider. But, hopefully, in time I can overcome that.

What my story will be with the crew still remains to be seen, but it will no doubt be seen soon. I've already met a great many new faces and expect to see them all in a short while. After all... where else is there to go.

I just need to have faith.

Computer, end log.
