Acting Chief of Security persona log, so I believe the command staff have finally lost the plot either that or they have been taking over by some powerful mind controlling life form! When I was brought into the Captains office I did not expect to receive my Pip's to Lieutenant Junior Grade!

On other news I have officially decided I never want to go down to the mines ever again, unless I have entire regiment of Marines going down with me. That place gives me the creeps and those... Zombie things with the red tentacles? All I have to say to that is put me against a Borg Armada any day at least they're easy to kill. The mine has however claimed some casualties one being a crewman my daughter was very fond of and secondly my own daughter herself, she's recovering in sickbay at the moment but we don't know just how the event will effect her physically and mentally so I will be keeping my log up to date with her recovery process.

Finally just so that I'm speaking to you, my lovely computer for a bit longer I have had the pleasure of welcoming Aria Rice to the department... yeah the one that put me in the brig. That'll be fun to see how that plays out maybe I can get my own back!
