Coming aboard

They say it's a small galaxy, but I didn't realize how small until today. Imagine my surprise when I find out that my twin sister is not only serving on the same ship and me, but is also my roommate.

Having Jaana as a roommate is just like back home when we were kids. Fortunately, Jaana let me have dibs on the bottom bunk this time. And she let me do a bit of redecorating. I don't know how she feels with my collection on display; the last time I showed her it, she was a little creeped out by the antique catheters.

Unfortunately, speaking of things being just like back home, Zuwtt is here too. He must have joined Starfleet sometime after I left him. Just thinking about the fact that that manipulative, domineering waste of oxygen is on the same ship as me gives me the creeps. I never wanted to see him again, and of all the ships in the galaxy...

Enough about him. He's not even worth the memory it takes to record this log.

I think I ruined Jaana's date. I feel horrible; I didn't mean to. I need to track down this guy. Maybe if I explain the situation, I can salvage something for her.

In terms of official business, I've met the people I'll be working with down in sickbay. They seem like a good crowd; hopefully they're better than my last assignment. Having an Andorian and a Tellarite as your direct supervisors is not fun, especially not when their boss is a Vulcan. In fact, one of the nurses invited me out for drinks, and we're going to be going to the bar in a couple days to get to know each other. It's nice to have a friend in the department.

Anyways, I better get to sleep; tomorrow is my first full day as a medical officer on the Galileo.

Computer, end recording.
