*The sound of something hard impacting against the wall of John's quarters*

"Computer begin the bloody recording.


Tonight was an unmitigated disaster - a complete and utter waste of resources, time, and good wine for a group of Cardassians who managed to do nothing other than end up in a verbal scrap with my CoB.

To make matters worse - I ended up grovelling with that damned Gul to try and keep him from filing a formal complaint with the Diplomatic wing of Starfleet - I am sure that I will be hearing from Lieutenant Alasia on the subject at some point soon.

Further more...what the hell is this??"

*A pause, followed by a scraping noise as a panel is forcibly removed from the wall*

"Furthermore...why is there a goddamn tribble in the air vents above my quarters? Dammit....Computer end log - I think I need to have a word with Engineering....."
