Personal Log - 021 - Focus is the key

ON:

"Whoosh" The door opened for Theron's quarters. Walking in it seemed like a
burden had been lifted from his shoulders. "Whoosh" Theron unconsciously
glanced back at the closing door.

He walked over to a cushoned chair and flopped down a lot harder than he had anticipated. He hadn't realized how tired he had become by the end of the
day. The Tandaran closed his eyes and began to breathe in and out slowly,
attempting to clear his mind of the days issues. There had been many tasks
to accomplish in preparation for their arrival at Lyshan III. Tomorrow would
also be a busy day when they arrived.

A multitude of images continued to flash through his mind of the days activity. They just wouldn't seem to stop. He tried again to focus on specific things as he breathed. The face of his mother came clearly into view. She had always been a support for him and his twin brother, Stephon.

He considered her to be a holy woman. She had always provided encouragement, love, and inspired her children to greatness. However, she had not necessarily been in favor of her two boys joinging Starfleet. In the end she gave her blessing to them, but it had been a long journey of coming to terms with the prospect of them leaving the Tandar Sector.

Theron had received a message earlier in the day that Stephon had just been
reassigned to the USS Asgard as their Chief of Security. He and his brother
were twins and always competed with each other, but had gratefully had never become rivals.

Theron glanced down at the inner part of his left forearm where his Bosche
lay. The permanent marking was in the shape of a Trident, pointing toward
his wrist. It was the honorarium for his family from deeds from his
Grandfather. He hoped that his Grandfather would be proud of he and Stephon
for their work in Starfleet.

Theron closed his eyes again to relax, but after several more minutes was
not able to do that. He knew the next best thing was to change into
something lest restrictive and go to the gym. He knew that there he could
exercise or spare and that would definately help him focus and releave the
tension of the day.
