Ew, I probably got spit all over my console... oh well!

So I met one of the new crew members today during our investigation. He's a cadet, and from Ops if memory serves. Great kid, probably a little awkward and clumsy, but he looks like he can do his job, and I certainly won't complain about him. But he was odd, which I found... well, I found that odd indeed. I can't tell what it is from just the tiny interactions I had with him, but it seemed like he was having trouble being in the mining facility. I can't tell why that is, whether it's the mines or the Cardassians, but... it seemed weird, if only because he was a Cardassian, or he looked like one anyway. Maybe I'm missing something... I really probably am.

Kid's probably just claustrophobic. Maybe a little talk would do him some good. Who knows.

Tch, gotta go to some dinner or something. Kita out.
