"Computer, begin log."

"So we've been on earth for quite a while now. The majority of my time here I've been busy, but it's been good. My dad was renovating the bar, which we finished about a week ago, and I'm trying to convince my mother to join Starfleet again. I think it would be fantastic, but she's not overly thrilled by the idea. I'm not having much luck changing her mind.

"Overall, it's really been amazing down here. I've missed Earth so much, especially after the whole Borg...incident. I almost don't want to leave again. I mean, I love my job, but I'm still a bit wary of going back. The thought that we might be attacked again just kind of sits in the back of my mind now. Best to push those thoughts aside, though.

"For now, I'm just going to focus on a few reports I have to finish and try to read a little before bed."
