Personal Log:

"So, this time aboard the Galileo finds me well and feeling like I am making a difference." Jacob took a swig of his soda as he sat at his desk. He looked at his prized relic gridiron football that was preserved in an acrylic block. It was a gift that had been passed down to him from generation to generation and held a special place in his heart. Another time, another era, another long ago pastime faded to history. His attention went back to his recording as he sighed and continued, "And here I find myself... lacking. I have yet to make more than acquaintances with some of my crew mates." Another sigh and drink of the soda followed, "And, as I have said before in other logs that I am both lucky and unlucky to be aboard an incredible ship with incredible people and lovely, single women.. which seems so unfair at times." Jacob got up and looked at himself in the mirror. "I wish sometimes I could be debonair and outgoing like my cousin Victor... he seems to have a different lady on his arm every day..." He sighed again, "And here I am.. and here they are.. oh I don't know.. just don't know. First there's Mor'an.. lovely, a warrior, strong women.. I am still so wanting to see if we can be something more than friends.. damn cultural barriers... I don't know about Kiri, I wish I did... she's so distant sometimes.. so uncomfortable in her own skills and self.. if she only knew how talented she is.. not to mention so pretty... then there is Natalie.. a feisty and fiery beauty who has taken a liking to my city building simulation.. and then there's Delainey.. a smart and upbeat woman who is so fun to be around.. and then lastly there is Victoria.. someone I want to get to know more. Well... that and so much more.." Sighing again and finishing his drink.. "Maybe I will add more later..."
Another heavy sighed followed as the recording went off.
