I've come to a couple of conclusions over the past few days.

First Commander Holiday is completely devoted to Star Fleet and is a stickler for regulations (okay I kinda already knew that) but once you get past all of that, if you can get past all of that Bull Shit and get him to take off the XO, Commander I'm In Charge masks and is human, he can actually be a pretty nice guy.

He told me he was single, like it was some trade secret and I am kind of surprised that he didn't have me fill out some non-disclose agreement in triplicate after having made this Top Secret revelation.


I've also concluded that he has to be STRAIGHT, because for someone as brilliant as he is, he was way too dense to figure out I was trying to flirt with him.

And yes I am sure he would have cited the regulation against it right down to the sub-paragraph and footnotes.

He is also too dense to realize how attractive he is.

Second is the new girl. Her name is Natalie and she is a botanist. She is spontaneous, fun, sarcastic and a bit rebellious. All of those are very redeeming qualities .

Don't know if there will ever be anything between us, but we did have a "date" and I am going to ask her out again.
