Personal log - 010 - Chief Security/Tactical Officer

ON:

I just completed my first briefing as Chief Security/Tactical Officer. I had Lt. Rice at my side. I think we will make a great leadership team. Being in control or in charge has never been my goal, so teamwork will really be the key to follow for the time being.

Being in charge is not difficult for me. Making decisions is not either. Making the right decision is always a delicate task.

I feel that we have a good team. The senior officers; Kiwosk, Davis, Rice, and myself will be the shoulders that the Captain will lean on. The support team; Stark, Christoph, Smoak, Chara, and the others will be the backbone of our security force.

Looking at Kestra sitting in the group almost brought a tear to my eye. It was not too long ago that Aria and I were under her wings of leadership. She has some hurdles to overcome. I hope to give her enough useful work to keep her engaged and feel fulfilled.
