I'm relieved to report we've made it to the Rojar system without incident. No one boarded us, no one attacked us, and most importantly, none of the crew were abducted. I would never talk so pessimistically in front of the crew, of course, but as my previous logs have shown, we've not exactly had a peaceful time of it thus far. I didn't realize it until we arrived, but a part of me sincerely doubted we'd be focusing on "just science" this time around. Color me pleasantly surprised.

I can't say I expected two non-corporeal lifeforms mating to usher in this new and unfamiliar non fight or flight state of being either, but hell, of all the messages the universe could send us, "Make love, not war" seems like a pretty good sign of things to come. I know the crew is more on edge than they're letting on because of our proximity to Borg space, but I'm happy to say with the exception of a few isolated incidents, that edginess seems to have been channeled appropriately into a greater sense of focus. Naturally, as time goes on, maintaining that level of focus while coping with anxiety will become more difficult, but Scarlet, Dawn, and I have our eyes peeled.

On the medical front, I'm relieved to report Kestra has awakened. She has a long road to recovery ahead and is not entirely out of the woods, but the med team is confident we can help her reclaim her life. I'm happy for the opportunity to play any part in that I can, and while I know I'm not more special than any doctor, I have to wonder if this is why I was ordered to split my time between medical and counseling to begin with. Perhaps the universe had its own personal message to deliver.
