What A Night.

Personal log: (day1/1720)

Time, seventeen-twenty hours..or so. Well, this has been a very interesting day for me. One I will not soon forget. Today, while...fishing on the holodeck, the ship's Science Chief approached me. We chatted for quite a long time. We joked, and told stories..and maybe even flirted a bit. Anyways, I got up the courage to ask her on a date. She is a beautiful woman, and for the life of me can not see why she would be interested in an old fart like myself. Maybe she is pulling my strings, having fun teasing the old cranky guy down in engineering. We'll see. Our date is set for twenty-hundred. I have to shower and shave, and still round up on the bridge, and engineering. this will be cutting it close. Oddly enough, I am a bit anxious.

Time, twenty-two hundred and something. I was wrong about the Science Chief. She is not beautiful...that description does not do her justice. Maybe, stunning, or ravishing, or all the above. She is a great person, and I look forward to seeing her again. If I never get to take her out again, I will still be the happiest guy in the sector. We had a blast tonight. We joked, laughed, held hands, even danced under the stars. I am surprised how well the night went. She is betrothed to another man by her parents. At least she isn't married Dad, my son would say. I can't figure out why, but there is some sort of connection there. A real, honest connection. I felt it back at the going away party the brass threw for us. We only spoke for a moment, but....

Anyways, I hope we get the opportunity to get to know one another better. I enjoy spending time with her, and she is so beautiful when she blushes, which is a lot. We will see how this goes. Needless to say we have become fast friends, and probably will be for quite a while.....did I mention she has the softest and sweetest lips I've ever tasted?
