Another night on this little island....I can't for the life of me remember what it's called, but it is quiet....and that is priceless. The residents here don't seem to mind us, Willis and I, that is. They have even given us shelter from the daily storms that seem to pop up unannounced. I have enjoyed my time here and the chance to catch up with Willis. Even though we are on the same ship, we rarely get the opportunity to just hang out and not worry about the ship or the crew.

This time I have spent here has been uplifting and serene. It has allowed me the time and clarity to reflect on my situation with Tarishiana. This has been hard for both of us, as her parents are still against us getting married, even though she is carrying our child. I honestly do not expect to see her again, at least not in the same capacity that we once were. Looks like I will lose another opportunity to see a child of mine being raised.

I think we will head back to the mainland in another day or two. As much as I hate to leave here, I still have obligations to meet back on the Galileo. It has been so long since I've gotten to take a break that I had forgotten how it felt to relax. And as for Willis, he can still make the best fire in the Galaxy for cooking over. Speaking of food, it's chow time and I'm starving.

End Log.
